Disappointed
It's very normal. I called my insurance company today & then called my doctors office to ask why they haven't done their part yet. Apparently I'm not their only patient & need to wait for them to do things their way. It's frustrating, I know.
Congrats on your surgery approval! Hang in there but feel free to call every day if that helps. Once my insurance was approved it took 2 months to get on the surgeon's calendar. I was very frustrated as am doing this while out of work. Anyway my surgery is Mon, Feb 16th. I am not fully physically and emotional ready. It will happen!!
Sometimes calling too much just makes the scheduling people see you as an annoyance and they might keep you at the bottom of the list just because you are irritating. Give it a week and then call and ask if they have scheduled you and when is a good time or you to call back.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Well, your doctor's office was probably closed on Saturday and Sunday. Did you call them yesterday? What did they say when you called? Did they schedule your surgery when you called?
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
Thanks for replies. I called yesterday. They apologized ... New scheduler who has only been there for 2 weeks and have to schedule surgeries around other Doctors schedules. I don't want to be viewed as an annoyance so won't call today. No glitches in the process except for this. I need some patience. Thank you for listening.
