Pulmonary function testing for pre op...

I was wondering if anyone else has has this problem yet so I know what to expect. I am in my 7th month of pre-op, and turned everything into insurance to get approved. I was denied, saying they wanted food diaries, echo test on heart, and pulmonary function test. I had been sick with a cold and bad cough, and my primary doctor saids she thinks it is asmtha. (I'm 31 and have never had trouble before) and my PFT came back at a 62%. They said they like them to be over 80. So now I am worried I will be denied again. So has anyone else had this come up pre op for insurance?

You will need to get everything required by insurance.  Asthma is not usually a reason for weight loss surgery.

Yes I've done everything else. ECHO, psychiatrist,  6months weight loss w nutritionist,  all my tests. My pulmonary function test was my only concern because results where so low.
