Question regarding horrible gas for the rest of your life....

I've had horrible gas since I had my gallbladder out... I'm now almost 4 weeks out and hardly any gas at all, and that which I do have isn't too horrible...

I too was having horrible painful gas after having my gallbladder taken out. About 6months ago I started taking Taurine along with vitamin D3 because of the gas pain. Life is so much better now.

Everyone is different and it depends heavily on diet. I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and I have a fairly steady supply of flatulence but it's almost completely unnoticeable to anyone but me. No sounds, no smells, just air.

I am only gassy with sugar alcohols and dairy. Your mileage may vary.

I don't have that problem ...unless I eat things that cause that.

in year 2-3 I identified what foods cause that... by year 5.. I finally accepted that I really don't want to smell like a skunk. nor do I want to cause panic in a store.. or kill my Bf with the stench...

Plus - the smell itself - I probably could handle - but the pain the gas caused... yea.. not really...

if I eat clean and make sure I have a good BM everyday.. I don't even need to use air freshener ...My gas and BM is less smelly than most normies... really...
