I had a lot of pain post op too, and man it was bad in my shoulders due to the gas. I was holding my shoulders and moaning as I walked back and forth from my kitchen slider doors to my front door to try and move the gas, was not fun but it did go away.

My sense of smell was excellent pre surgery and it was like I became a Blood Hound post surgery. It was horrible. And oddly I was addicted to sweets pre surgery, post surgery I could barely drink the protein shakes they were too sweet, I would gag, I started holding my nose when I drank them.  I craved spicy & savoury for a long time.  Now it seems to have gone back to normal.

I loved sugar pre-op.  Now I can't seem to get enough hot sauce or pepper on anything.  Yay.

The unjury protein brand is available only in the states, not in Canada. I will see how long it takes for shipping. Prior orders of items from states are held up at Duty, leaving me waiting over 5 weeks. I will call and ask though. Thank you for that suggestion everyone!

I thought the sense of smell being upped was just me!  So glad to hear I'm not alone.
