If you think VSG is the best for you then insist on it . Personally I had RNY and wish I had asked for a DS .. I could definitely have handled it . 

That said any weight loss surgery is better than none for a MO person I firmly believe.

Their both the same don't do it akhi!!! Fasting will be a near impossible. You can't drink lots of water or eat a normal meal! Please I beg as one muslim *****grets her decision to do vsg daily don't let them lie to you.
