Journey began 3 years ago

I began the journey 3 years ago. Had every test done, date set, then the doctor's office called to let me know my insurance didn't cover the procedure- This was 4 months and 2500 dollars later. Since then I have just been trying everything and anything.

Started a new job in Jan , and the insurance covers gastric bypass. I checked and double checked myself. I found a Dr that comes highly recommended, Have started gathering my medical records for the last 5 years, including pych eval, dieticians , etc- Went back on weigh****chers Jan 20th and I am walking 5 -6 miles a day. I have lost 18 pound as of today. Am 5'3 " 250. Time to get my life back. Menopause kicked my butt, but they have my hormone levels back to normal. I go for my consult on 03/15. I am armed and ready- Fitbit records, weigh****chers, other diets with other doctors......
Praying this won't take long.
