Afternoon friends,

I didn't get up until 12:40 pm but yesterday i was up almost 24 hours from my snafu on Saturday with my meds.

No breakfast

L cottage cheese and tuna

D teriyaki chicken, green beans and half of sweet potato

S Greek yogurt, bacon and honeycrisp apple.

QOTD It's a slippery slope for me. I tried making low sugar desserts and i would eat more than i should.

Have a good day

Well, folks, it's been a Monday for sure!!! I'm here, trying to be accountable. However, I am very late posting my menu and answer to your QOTD.

We had a good weekend. This weekend, my Grandma turned 80. We had a huge party for her, and the only thing she asked for was that we all go to church with her. So, after the party, few of my cousins and kids came to my house so the kids could play. It was a great evening. I haven't seen a couple of those cousins in over 15 years! Yesterday was a chilly day, but we all managed to get up and dressed and make it to church with Grandma....even though we had a late night the night before with all of the company, plus we lost an hour! I did manage to not eat cake or thumbprint cookies. I had a glass of tea and some mixed nuts that were offered. (Thank God for my mom for making sure there was something there to nibble on that wasn't sweet!) Even one of my kids went for the nuts instead of the cake and cookies!!!

QOTD: I'm not sure. I like the cauliflower substitute for the potatoes, but I haven't tried much else. I try really hard to not eat anything sweet...other than my coffee. I do have a sweet tooth, and I have tried a couple of things, but I won't be making a large amount of any "faux" food. I just don't trust my self. (i.e. Grandma wanted everyone to meet for lunch before her party at the Chinese buffet. I just couldn't do it. I just don't trust myself enough.)

It's Spring Break here, and I'm taking Friday off work so we can enjoy some time with the kids before they have to head back to school next week. We were thinking about going camping, but I just don't know if that is going to pan out. Maybe just a weekend at home getting the garden planted will work for me. I know there is a flea market this weekend not too far away, so maybe we will do that on Saturday afternoon.

Three and a half months since RNY. Been in a stall. It's been tough. I'm back down to my lowest weight since like Junior High: 189

B: Jerky, string cheese

L: 4oz shrimp, ****tail sauce

S: String cheese, Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla

D: CRACK CHICKEN with Sriracha (holy moly!!! This stuff is delicious!)

S: Cashews or PB on a spoon

L/V: On track

E: Taking today off. I have a few household chores that have been neglected over the past couple of days. There aren't enough hours in the day to get it all done!

Have a great rest of your day, folks!

I'm always late to the party but I feel it's important it post my menu if possible.

QOTD: the past couple of weeks have been very difficult for me head hunger wise. I haven't tried any fake foods but I'm pretty certain if I did now it would be a disaster for me. It's like I have to keep saying to myself: why do you want food? Are you really hungry? The answer is always no. My head just isn't playing nice.

B: decaf and protein hot chocolate

L: prosciutto and string cheese, pepper

D: sirloin and broccoli
