Questions about Transitioning from Liquids to Purees

Hi Melissa,

I'd follow my doctor's advice if I were you. The extra week on full liquids won't hurt you. I had to do two extra weeks of full liquids because of inflammation inside. I'm back on purees now, after a month of full liquids, plus 3 weeks of pre-op liquid diet, and am doing fine with purees now, thank God.

On my plan, yogurt and cottage cheese were part of full liquids, not purees. I guess every plan is different. I didn't even have a follow up visit until 1 month post op; we don't have 2 week follow ups in Northern Ontario.

Whatever you decide, good luck!

Kathy
