OMG - please keep us posted on your dad!! I know what's going on is extremely stressful and upsetting!! I'll be thinking of you and crossing my fingers that they figure out what's going on and that he gets better!!!
QOTD: my father is a retired college professor (economics). My mother was an elementary school teacher for many years, but after one of our many moves, she wasn't able to find a teaching position, so she went to work in a doctor's office (doing insurance, etc). Did that for many years as well. After she "retired", she went to work part-time at a nursing home - mostly doing clerical stuff. She loved it - very low stress job - and she ended up staying until she was 79 years old! (she still regrets she left. She thought she was ready to "retire" at 79, but it turns out, she wasn't - she'd love to find another part-time job!)
22 months out
B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, NYMom's protein "Orange Julius" (plain kefir, peach protein powder, vanilla flavoring, ice)
L: not sure. I'm meeting a friend. I'm hoping she'll be up for Mexican food - if so, I'll get a fajita or a taco (if fajita, I just focus on the meat and veggies - eat about a cup of it and box the rest up for later...)
D: beef barley soup
if I can afford the calories later, maybe another yogurt - but I may be at my limit once I have dinner.
Sorry about your dad JB. Hopefully by now things are looking up.
