What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! WFH today after 2 LONG days in the office. I am officially on a revised work schedule: M-W 10 hour days; T-F 4 hour days very early so I am done by late morning and can take DH places and do things with him. I am 1/3 of the way through my last year of working, so hopefully this will allow me to fini**** out.
QOTD: I too loved Nancy Drew, but I read EVERYTHING. I have loved reading since I learned how.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: either pork tenderloin or pulled pork and broccoli (leftovers)
S: almonds, protein bars

I had my 6-week appointment with my surgeon yesterday and all went well. I am particularly excited that I have been released to start swimming as of next week, so I will star****er aerobics next Tuesday. I love our class. I went several times a week last fall until I had breathing problems and had to stop. I want to get back to twice a week for deep water aerobics and maybe once on the weekends for swimming. That should help me to have some variety in my activity.
JB, sorry about your training. It certainly is something that requires putting in the time and sometimes life just gets in the way.
QOTD: I loved the Little House books and for years people said that I looked like Laura from the TV series because I had brown braids. I read constantly and always had a book with me.
Breakfast: Spinach feta egg muffin, 1 piece of turkey bacon
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: leftover swordfish and riced cauliflower
Snack: cottage cheese and homemade applesauce
Dinner: probably salmon just because it's easy
Exercise: short morning walk, long afternoon walk

That's great! Glad you can get back to the pool :)
Hey yall
Got derailed a bit last night at bedtime, there was a protein cake/yogurt/two squares of chocolate, two SF werthers and 4 almonds involved. Yes, I logged them and I'm maintenance.
Thanks for the well wishes on Itty Bitty rescue pup, the meds appear to be working and he is coughing a bit less than before. It makes me so sad. I finally got some 'to do's' off my list last night including ironing which I HATE and for the longest time would just take mine and DH shirts to the dry cleaners to have them washed and pressed because I hated it so much. Anywho, its DONE!
Weekend plans are up in the air, but tomm is grocery shopping after work and picking up the raw milk to make another batch of yogurt.
Dinner last night was a cornish hen and some chicken thighs on pickled cabbage with a small side of okra. it was cooked in IP and broiled off in oven. Have not made one in so long it was yummy.
QOTD: Book series: sweet valley high, ramona quimby, berenstein bears, NANCY DREW oh my goodness I think I read them all- plus some of the hardy boys ones.
16 months post op / 120.6lbs today / maintenance diet
coffee/tea/miralax
yogurt/protein donut
roast meat/okra/cabbage/romaine/spinach
cornish hen
Easy dinner not sure probably leftovers or tuna salad
QOTD: I loved all those books you said JB. I think the Narnia books were my favorites growing up, though.
Today's my last day of regular work before my move. I'm taking tomorrow off so I can work overtime on Saturday (I have more vacation days than I have money to take vacation with...). This morning I was 10 min late to spin class because I realized after I left the house that I forgot my vitamins and I went back for them. Maybe the extra 10 min of spin would make up for a missed dose... but I'm taking those vitamins seriously!
Plan:
Breakfast: Coffee with premier protein
Breakfast 2: Cottage cheese
lunch: Eggbite and babybel (maybe going out to lunch. If so I'm gonna have half a veggie burger with no bun instead. Already scoped out the menu and nutritional info)
Snack: Greek yogurt with protein powder and sugar free pistachio pudding mix
Dinner: my newest creation which is fake crack chicken made with soy chicken and that Greek cream cheese I learned about here on the menu thread
