Good Morning JB and Menu Family!
QOTD: Cheesecake!
My first photo is of a little bird house that my daughter made (with the help of my best friend) when I was in the hospital one time for a broken knee. She was only about 8 years old so we've had this little bird house for probably 15 years now. EVERY year without fail some birds make a nest in it! We have it hanging by our sliding glass door of our patio and I love sitting outside watching the birds go in and out of the bird house feeding their babies. The birds are back in the bird house again this year.
The second picture is of some pretty purple flowers that come up every Spring in the front of my house. I think they might be called miniture purple hyacinths.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: lettuce, chicken, cheese, low cal dressing
D: taco meat, cheese, sour cream, 1/2 flour tortilla
S: light n fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a WONDERFUL Friday everyone and a GREAT Easter weekend!
~ Karen

The bird house is adorable.
When I saw your Prosciutto and mozzarella sticks- I thought about buying them at Costco yesterday, but never did find them. Love them...

Trader Joe's had them too. They are by the deli meat.
I'm glad it's Friday, but I also feel like this week flew by and I did not get enough done! Also I am completely unprepared for this weekend to be Easter. I need to get to the store tonight or the Easter Bunny may not make it to our house in time, LOL

well, I was up half the night. I finally remembered why - I thought it was a great idea to put some instant espresso powder in this chocolate yogurt I made last week. You know, to deepen the flavor. Not thinking that I would normally eat chocolate yogurt at night, rather than in the morning, as I usually do with yogurts. Ugh. So to keep myself awake today, I ate some *more* chocolate yogurt for breakfast. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd be asleep by noon. I put some canned cherries on top of it because I like having a little fruit in the morning - (usually a few berries - but cherries go better with chocolate). Good Lord those things have a lot of calories! I mean for fruit.. I'll have to watch it the rest of the day, which will be tough since I'm meeting friends for lunch *and* dinner...
QOTD: pie. I don't like having cake unless I have a scoop of ice cream to go with it - otherwise, it's too dry.
22 months out (maintenance)
B: chocolate Greek yogurt, a few cherries
S: snickerdoodle protein shake, maybe a coffee with half & half
L: innards from two tacos
D: going to another Mexican place. Either taco innards or fajitas (meat and veggies only)
if I have enough calories left, maybe a L&F yogurt this evening
I just realized...my kiddos are in school today-and it's Good Friday!! Wtf? Wow!!
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
