Two yrs. out--abdominal pain and frequent burping
I am two years out. About two weeks ago I started having mild abdominal pain. It is mostly from the center of my upper abdomen to my belly button. It is with me constantly. I have been thinking it would go away on its own, but now I am not sure. I am trying to get an appointment with my surgeon. My stomach seems to be gurgling constantly and I am burping frequently. I have had absolutely NO problems until now. Any ideas?

It sounds like an ulcer. I developed one about a year ago. They put me on a double dose of Prilosec and Carafate. It cleared up in about a month. Definitely see your surgeon. Abdominal pain is never normal.
Ulcer, IBS, constipation, hernia, Gallbladder issues. It can be anything.
Fyi- you could be constipated even if you have a regular BM. I know. Things sometimes back up - and if you don't get a complete BM - eventually - things are kind of stuck inside you. Leftovers.
