As I mentioned to Michelle I am really relieved to know it's not just me. I was thinking it's a little early out for a stall so I must be doing something wrong. I do think adding in more foods and protein through puréed stage will maybe help kick start things. You're right about the way weight comes off...I have to convince myself to not weigh daily, it can be crazy making. Hope your adding of purées is going well.

I had my "three week stall" during weeks 2 and 3. During week 4, it broke and I lost like 6-8 lbs within a couple of days. Just stick to your plan and it will break.

Thank you...I'm feeling very reassured by the responses about stalls starting earlier than three weeks for some people. I didn't consider that.

I would stop focusing on the scale right now. If you are eating what you are supposed to eat it will come off.

Make sure you have liquids as high as you can get them, shoot for at least 64 oz a day. Get your protein as high as you can get it, shoot for 60 grams a day. If those protein drinks get too sweet try the Unjury chicken broth powder or bone broth, sounds like you already have clues about using protein powder in greek yogurt. I would off the applesauce and aubstitute yogurt or some other protein. I would either skip the creamed soup or make sure you are using a high protein milk. I would definitely off the oatmeal.

But at 400 calories a day you will lose weight, there is no question about it. Too low calories is not a real thing.

Thanks...I have been struggling a bit with protein because my centre said to stop adding protein powder to soups/yogurt re: constipation so I'm just starting to add it back in, it hasn't been at 60gm for a few days, I was only able to get 30-40 in on just foods. The applesauce is not really something I can ditch yet. I can't put the medication in yogurt and I tried it in water and the beads just went everywhere and not down my throat...it was awful. I'm starting purées tomorrow so I may be able to find something to put it in that's protein based now.

Your center told you to stop adding protein powder? Why not just add senna or another laxative to your diet? Getting your protein in is really, really important. Not sure what meds you are taking, I crushed mine and just gritted my teeth and swallowed them in my prorein drink. I think it was only for two or three weeks.

Good luck, hope you figure it out.

Thanks. They did...also told me to double up on restoralax at the same time as I was already on a stool softener. I am having the protein powder again but not to the level I was before. I'm actually going to drink one of the premier clear today to up things as well. Thank you for replying!
