At 11.5 months post-gastric bypass, one egg is still my max.

If you are referring to my menu I would appreciate you telling me directly your thoughts. I have on my menu today both TWO baby bels as a snack and TWO eggs for dinner.

I may eat a lot more than you and have a bigger pouch size (not that I really care about its EXACT size down to the last ounce) but I won't be the one having major health problems or dying from non compliance with taking vitamins.

If you are not referring to me its very ironic as I have both the baby bel and eggs on my menu today.

I also can eat two eggs WITH a sprinkle of cheese and two baby bel as a snack. For as far out as we are, I don't see anything wrong with that.

Heaven forbid you eat a reasonable portion of lean proteins! Hell, you should just throw in the towel and chow down on an entire pizza.

You'll have to forgive her, she's just "telling it like it is." Apparently that phrase gives folks permission to be passive-aggressive ********

I guess I'm in trouble too! I regularly eat 2 eggs, small piece of turkey sausage and 1/2 slice of cheese. Never with bread and it holds me until a late lunch . Maybe that's why I'm at a standstill for so long.

RNY peeps should have capacity of ~1 cup the surgeon said after a year...and certainly two eggs is far less than a cup. That's perfectly appropriate.

A month out, I'd cry. But I cry eating eggs anyway as they are evil monsters in my stomach and hate me. I had to look up a baby bel and they are adorable! I've never seen them before. They also look decently healthy, actually.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Wow--someone else in North America is eating eggs and/or Baby Bel cheese. Who'd a thunk it??

Girl, I eat 2 eggs for breakfast every morning. Ain't nothing wrong with 2 eggs. I am 14 years out from surgery and am still at my goal weight. As long as we stick with lean proteins and skip the carbs, it's all good. Enjoy your eggs and cheese.
