I just caught up with what you're referring to, and I want you to know that you are doing the right thing. I'm all for having friends of the opposite sex, I have many, and I have very close relationships with them--but they respect me and my marriage, and likewise I respect theirs. Any play flirting we do is super obviously open and not serious, aka, nothing to hide from spouses. That to me is the line in the sand from innocent to not-so-much.

I hope everything works out, but I agree the first step is coming clean about it to DH, and then blocking this friend. He doesn't respect you or his own wife.

Busy day today, so posting late and I'll come back tonight to read :)

I applied for a position at my husband's place of employment a while back and didn't get it. But I got an email from the recruiter to ask if I was interested in applying for a different role. I have another phone interview set up for Tuesday afternoon. Swing the chickens!

qotd: flannel PJ pants, fleece sheets, fuzzy socks, hot tea on a cold evening. A good "brain candy" book!

breakfast was coffee

lunch was turkey meatballs with a little no-sugar homemade spaghetti sauce

im eating 2 oz deli turkey for a snack

dinner is chicken breast with fajita seasoning, maybe a bit of hot sauce for "wiggle sauce."

I guess I assume a bit of spaghetti sauce as a condiment was fine, but someone let me know if I'm breaking the law and the AMAW police will come for me.

At a condiment level I think that's fine. It's no longer AMAW if it's a cup's worth, though. I stewed my flank steak last night with some SF, no-cal, no-carb BBQ sauce. That's ok too. Lately I notice beef isn't tasting all that great to me. It's probably my cooking though!

Yeah I'm only using maybe 1/4 C or so...just to dip the meatballs in. They're turkey meatballs and get kind of dry reheated. But it's my own garden sauce that I canned so I opted to leave out any added sugar, at least :)

Ive noticed I go waves of what protein I'm loving or hating. I have been turning up my nose at pork right now, but I'm two weeks it might be on my menu again and it will be something else I'm not keen on

Sounds good Cassie! Yes, I've noticed that with protein too. Right now it's beef that isn't appealing, and wouldn't you know, I just made a big pot of it?
