Starting Over after Pouch Reset

I am returning to OH after many years. My RNY was in 2010. I got down to 189 and then regained 36 pounds over the last eight years. I started having trouble handing more and more foods and having dumping syndrome. I am starting over and just completed a 10 day pouch reset plan and have a beginning loss of 8 lbs. I have not had any symptoms since beginning again. I really want to get to my goal even though I am much healthier now than I was before the RNY. My goal is 140. I have tried to restart many times and have given up after the first or second day. I am really pleased I have gone these 10 days. I am hoping that some of you who have regained the weight, or regained and lost it again will share and support with me your successes.

Good job with starting over. I always find day 3 to be the hardest, so making it to day 10 is an excellent start. When I had surgery, I thought it would be the end of dieting. Now I know that it is not. Regain happens.

I have regained and lost again several times. It is just a matter of watching what I eat and getting enough exercise. Take it one day at a time and keep up the good work.

MAUREEN - You got this!!! And we will be here for you, every ounce of the way!!!

I am Gina, AKA The Queen of Regain/Reloss/Regain/Reloss...it is a subject very near and dear to my heart...and to my flabby thighs...

I finally had to get just plain old ANGRY, at myself, and get REAL. I was never one of those people who blamed anyone/anything, besides MYSELF (no blaming spouse/medication/bad knees/the air), for what I was putting into my pie hole...including pie...

My best "advice" to you: Stay CONNECTED, with peeps, who "get you"...Right HERE, is an awesome start

I'd be more than happy to have you, as a friend, both here, and on Facebook- look me up! Gina Derr Robinson Morales
