It has been windy but overall nice here in my part of Southern California.

Breakfast consisted of 2 eggs with 1/4 cup of Shredded Cheese

Snack: 1 serving of Cheddar Cheese

Lunch: 2 slices of Ham, 2 slices of Tillamook Cheddar Cheese, 1/2 cup cucumbers, 1 TBS Mayo, 2 leaves of Romaine Lettuce

Snack: Protein Shake from Quest (Peanut Butter)

Dinner: Smoked Chicken, potatoes and Veggies

QOTD:

1) Follow the guidelines from your surgeon/nutritionist. Not anyone else's. What is right for one program, may not be right for you

2) Find a mental health pro who specializes in or has experience with bariatric patients or eating disorders.

Hi there! Sneaking in a post while it's still morning, barely!!

qotd -

1) learn about head hunger vs real hunger- 2 plus years and I'm still using this close to daily, some days 100 times a day!

2) hydrate, hydrate, hydrate - ho****er, room temp, cold; tea, coffee---all instrumental in solving so many issues!

I am blah today. I have an exercise rest day and a pretty low key day "at the office" so at least there's that.

menu today

coffee + half and half

microwaved PP

i have the last leftovers of taco meat and cheese so I'll have that, not sure what else. My blah is extending to not being very hungry, or it could be that I'm already over 100 oz fluid so maybe I'm just full, lol!

have a great and non snowy Monday! (It's 20 and snowing here). JB, hope you guys keep power!!

Ok, I promised myself that I would jump into this when I hit my personal goal. That happened yesterday. Surgery date was 10/29/19.

QOTD -- Since I am so new to this, my advice is to keep an open mind when experience is talking. My surgeon is very rigid about her pre and post diet and follow up. Her instructions include weighing daily and taking that moment to think about the choices you made yesterday. I try and live by that.

B: emiepie egg salad (see, I've been paying attention!)

L: 2 ounces chicken, 2 tablespoons cauliflower/broccoli rice

D: taco meat, cheese, tomato

I'm doing the best I can for me everyday. Peace!

Welcome. That's funny you say weigh everyday. I find it the most important tool I use to keep me accountable however my program said only weigh once a week. I find that hysterical I'd never be where I am today without that scale to remind me.
