^^ME!

Morning Gang and Happy Friday! I have a really nice day day ahead, I think!

I am working this morning, then meeting up with my mom, mid-day, for a quick hello because she'll be in the area, and back to work again. Then my BFF is coming over for socially distanced take-out in the backyard to finish celebrating her birthday. Pic below of us at the surprise party I threw in a parking lot last weekend, where we had cars pull up and honk and stuff. It turned out better than I had imagined :) She has been my Bestie since I was 19! Unbelievable the she just turned 50. I can't...

Next in my photo Friday series is my HAIR! I have decided to wear this unruly mop like a badge of honor for being compliant and not going out and getting it done, but... damn. It is growing sideways instead of down and I can barely get a brush through it anymore. I miss my Keratin!

Last, Grim and I with our awesome new masks made by our very own CJonOrcas! I love them so much!!! Hahahahaha.

See all that BACON that Grim is holding? He is making it right now. It smells unbelievable. And my friend wants to order tacos from our fav little local Mexican restuarant tonight, so...whatever...I am not even going to post a menu today. I don't even think that I am going to have time for much exercise, either! Whoops. I will try to make up for my sins this weekend!

QOTD: What was the "monster under your bed" when you were a child? I was not the kind of kid who was afraid of the dark when I was really little, but in the 5th grade I went to a sleepover, and they showed Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I was never the same. I refused to be upstairs alone, or sleep with the light off again for YEARS.

Ok, as previously mentioned, today is going to be a disaster food-wise and I am prepared for it, so no formal menu (I will wait and log after it happens) but here is what I think:

B: Fit Frappe & Bacon

L: Shredded Chicken & SF BBQ Sauce

D: Steak Tacos, Chips & Salsa, & at least one "Skinny" Margarita

Pic is from vacation right after shopping and me trying on a size small shirt and being surprised I could actually fit! Lol

Good morning and happy Friday all! Felt like I got a lot accomplished yesterday at my first day back to work. Hopefully today will be the same. Accountability was pretty good yesterday although I'm still struggling to get off these extra 3 pounds that I put on. I don't know why but out of nowhere I'm craving pizza. Haven't had it since before surgery and have no clue why I'm suddenly craving it. Thought about ordering dinner from my favorite local pizza place I used to order from before surgery. They have these pizza bowls now that are just pizza toppings without the crust, but when I checked the calorie content it's still quite high. So I'm scratching that idea. Sigh... Also been having some crazy dreams!

QOTD: my monster under the bed was the wicked witch of the west from the wizard of oz. that movie freaked me out as a kid and I'd have recurring nightmares that I was Dorothy strolling down the yellow brick road with Toto and we'd always meet up with the wicked witch. One time I even dreamt that she was hiding under my bed and would grab me when I went to get in. She had these razor sharp teeth and would bite off my leg. I remember it seemed so real that when I woke up I was so scared to check to see if I still had both my legs! For the longest time as a kid I'd turn off the lights and then run and leap into bed so nothing could grab me. Lol

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2

L: premier shake and some fruit

D: TBD

S: L&F yogurt

Whooo SMALL! You go girl! Looking great :)

Weirdly, I was fine with the wicked witch, but those damn flying monkeys definitely got into my head.

My daughter was TERRIFIED of the flying monkeys, even though Wizard of Oz was her favorite movie. Always going around with those red shoes and dressed up as Dorothy.
