Good morning! I had such a second day in a row of productivity yesterday. Our patio furniture is all scrubbed and the outdoor kitchen and bar are nice and clean and ready for use. Of course, the birds are pooping on the outdoor kitchen area as we speak. We have very old lines that run above our house and they sit up there and bless us with droppings. But as long as we stay on top of that, outdoor cooking and eating season has arrived at our place!! My husband needs to replace a few things in the big bbq, but it's still working so I am planning meals around that. Today work is going to be a lot. Like A LOT A LOT. I've got huge bids due and my email is currently blowing up. This day should fly by, then we are hosting happy hour for the neighbors tonight. I went and got really fun things to put out for noshing, and all of it on plan for me. I'll just need to watch the volume I eat, and of course, limit the wine.

QoTD: Definitely eating out on a whim. I keep my fridge and pantry stocked with good options. I can pull together a meal that's good for me at just about anytime. But my husband and I love to eat out. I'm trying to limit it to once or twice a week, but these last two weeks have been bad, and the next 3 look iffy. Like JB said, at least 1 meal out conveys to 2-3 leftover meals. And I always try and make a great choice (and then steal a bite something bad for me and yummy off my husband's plate)

Menu:

B: hb egg, 1/4 cottage cheese

L: meat sauce, edamame noodles, parm

D: I'm making breadless mini BLT's, parm meat balls on a bed of baked mozzerella, pecorino cheese side, and I have pork rinds, salsa and guacamole. I'm a bit all over on a theme, but these looked good while I was shopping and I can make them fit into my food plan!

Peace everyone!

Good morning~ I went to bed at 6:30 last night and slept like a baby until 5 am! I feel pretty darn good today. My husband surprised me with strawberry Halo bars for dessert last night - so good! They didn't upset my stomach like the pints do, or maybe it's the portion control, but a very nice treat none the less. Today is a busy day at work, lunch with my sister, the gym after work and relaxing with the hubs watching murder shows tonight.

QOTD - Emotions! A tough day or an exhausting one can spiral me, even with solid food plans. Those are the days I have to push through with the 'be a machine' mentality (doesn't always work - sometimes the chips win). If I am feeling positive and and strong I can navigate any situation and stay on plan.

Gym - stretch, floor and cardio

Mindful of all the things

Have a great day!

Just a quick check in....it's like I barely have time to get on here anymore. Work has been crazy busy and a bit stressful with the new company taking over. Then dad got his biopsy results back and it turns out it's cancer so he is meeting with his doctor this week to go over treatment options. Good news is they caught it early! Other than that I'm just still trying to lose this damn regain and reign in my snacking!....sigh

B: coffee & protein shake

S: Ezekiel toast w/peanut butter

L: tuna & laughing cow cheese

D: leftover baked boneless skinless chicken breast, sweet potato & veggies

S: apple or a L&F Greek yogurt w/blackberries
