Happy FriYAY! My week really was fantastic. I think I like the work involved in the new job and it's great to be able to focus on doing one thing well.
I'm going into work late this morning. I have a doctor's appointment with an eye surgeon to explore whether I am a candidate for Lasik. I don't mind wearing glasses at all but wearing them with a mask is totally a pain in the ass, and I often don't wear them during the day anymore which gives me headaches... so I am going to investigate whether it's for me. My cat didn't care that I could have slept in for a few hours! He was standing on my chest and meowing for his food at 3:55am this morning. I wish I could hit snooze on this kitty, sigh...

QOTD: Do you have any cool new gadgets? We recently bought a key pad lock for the front door so that we can punch in the number instead of fiddling with a key. I thought it would just be a keypad, but it turns out that it also has a fingerprint option and an app that will unlock the door when you walk up with your phone, etc. It's cool!
I ate Tums all day yesterday, and started back on x2/day Omeprazole last night to try to get my acid under control. Hopefully that will make a big dent in the gnawing hunger I have been feeling this week. Yesterday was already a little better.
I'm in back to back meetings when I get into the office today and we are planning to out to dinner tonight, so this menu is super TBD...

good luck with the lasik appt, it's one of the best things I ever did for myself; being able to read the alarm clock from 3 feet away is a game changer.

I have Pilates this morning, a busy day at work and then hopefully a relaxing evening ahead.
I really need to go to the grocery store this weekend and do some meal planning for the week.

I'm relaxing and having my first coffee of the day.. I got up a bit earlier so I'd have Time to enjoy it and so far no regrets.
Today is a rest day from the gym - my body is so so sore..

Good Friday morning folks.
My niece Rachel is staying the night tonight. I'm hoping that Walmart will get their **** together and will have my pain med ready today. I had to skip last night's patch. They had the med but couldn't get it ready due to the store doing inventory. What the heck ever.
Yesterday I dropped off the disc with the myelogram results at the neurosurgeon's office. Who knows how long it'll take to hear back from them. I'm so frustrated. Oh well I guess.
I'm going to make an enchilada casserole today and I'm making my own green sauce. Got some fresh tomatillos, a poblano and will do onion...I'll roast them and then blend them with cilantro. I'll be freezing most of it. Not following a recipe so we'll see how it goes.
QOTD: nothing really new here that I can think of. It's not really a new gadget but I just ordered a new kind of crystal I'm excited to try in a capture.

hi all decided to grace ya'll with a picture for once. I don't actually know how this happened because they never sit like this unless its on me... can you tell which is the blind one?
scale back down, poo to the rescue and water!!! I'm up about 3 ish pounds from where I've been. I can say that the past year has been the most stable my weight has ever been. prior to that i was gaining and crying a lot. i was looking at photos from 2019 and i like the shape of my body better then so I this means about 20 pounds more should do it. I don't know how long that may take.
b: chicken sausage and cheese?
l: maybe more tuna and cauli stir fry
d: tuna sandwich i think/ maybe pork shop for DH?
QOTD: hmmmm i bought a light ring for my ecommerce business. been having some trouble getting it setup right. have to work on it more.
