G?morning all!

Hope all the Americans had a great thanksgiving with family and enjoyed their time off. And for you Canadians I hope it was a regular but uneventful end of the week.

QJB - good luck today!

I had a great time with my kidlets home; the house full of noise, doors opening and shutting, kids screaming from one corner of the house to the other...was just pure bliss. DS left Sat evening for San Diego, and this morning DD left for DC. Good thing both will be back around 12/18-12/21.

So having kids home was very good for my soul but not so good for my waist line. I ate and didn't workout all week. This morning I?m back on track and I should do some sort of detox all week. The idea of AMAW is not appealing but I think I'll just stick to hb eggs and tuna for most of my meals to get the carbs out of my system. The goal should be the lowest carb and under 1000 cals. Out of self preservation I?m not getting on the scale till next Sat, bcz with my personality if I see a bad number instead of working hard to reverse the course, I just say well you f?ed up might as well keep eating.

I know it's not pic day but I was so proud of myself that I had to share. As most of you have heard me saying over and over I don't like cooking, but I love appetizers or desserts. So for thanksgiving my master piece was the baked stuffed Brie with cranberries and walnut

And for the second year in a row, Teenie's pumpkin cheesecake. Chrissy, my husband LOVES this cheesecake and keeps eating a slice of it every night. He sends you his most heartfelt thanks for sharing your recipe with me.

QOTD: in this moment, except for vitamins and water, nothing else. But ask me this question in about a week and I should be able to have a better answer.

My meals yesterday: let's not talk about it!

Happy start of the week!

Yum. Those look fantastic. My cheesecakes ended up in the freezer until I can taste and share them with a crowd. Glad you got the Kiddo time you needed. You're such a great Mama .

Good morning QJB and menu Folks. Happy Monday.

JB, exciting day, I am sure they will not want to lose you, but should be happy for you if it is what you choose.

They will spend a few days at our house and then I will drive them to my Brothers in Plymouth, Ma, he will drive them to my place at the end of their visit.

L - Besseto Salami and Provolone

AS - Keto Bar

D - Meatloaf and Sauteed shaved brussel sprouts

E - Gym night, 30 minute circuit and 30 min cardio

Good luck with giving notice today - I've only done it twice in my career and I was SO NERVOUS both times. The first time my director took it SO personally it was horrible and I think it scarred me. The second time when I left my Executive Director role in the middle of the pandemic the board president was a rock star and immediately congratulated me - now that is the way it's supposed to go!

QOTD: Busy Beaz loving bacon last night is the WLS thing I'm feeling pretty good about right now - getting my protein in Also vitamins. Vitamins are the one thing I'm super compliant with and never let slip.

DH is off today and I'm WFH, so he'll be keeping Busy busy - I hope. Somehow even when I'm working and he isn't, I end up in charge. We'll see how it goes.

8:30 - coffee, egg bites

11:30 - protein shake, fruit

2:30 - yogurt, veggies

6 - chicken sausage and fall veg sheet pan meal

8:30 - rice cake, pb, nuts
