Happy Tuesday! Yesterday's light display was lovely. We had a very nice time! It was very cold so I am wearing like 60 layers, haha, but it was an invigorating walk in the chilly air.

I have a pretty chill day of baking and decorating today (like just a normal amount and not x10000 pace! yay!), and tonight I am excited to FINALLY meet a friend's toddler. Her baby shower was in early March 2020--probably the last event I went to before the pandemic. The baby was born on March 17, 2020, and her mom has kept her in a bubble this whole time. We've zoomed a bunch but I am so exited to squeeze this cutie tonight!

QOTD: If you were trapped in a Christmas Movie, which one would you choose? I'd be in White Christmas so that I could stay in a nice inn in VT and have Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney sing to me :) Second choice--Elf, because I love NYC at Christmas and I wouldn't mind having Buddy the Elf cook for me!

B: Egg Bites

L: Quinoa veggie burger, tzatziki and mini naan

D: Turkey burger? maybe?

Good morning QJB and menuers,

JB, you guys look great together. :) That's a stunning light display.

Working from home today. Feels like my body might be fighting something off as I have zero energy and all I want to do is sleep. Some meetings today but not a terribly busy schedule, so I should be able to get a ton of work done. Cold weather is coming, so need to get the heater out to the well house in the next day or two.

Menu

Ratio yogurt, turkey meatballs, fairlife protein shake, tuna salad, seaweed.

Hope you all have a great day.

Take good care of yourself and maybe some extra rest will keep you from getting worse.

Take care of yourself. FYI-I started getting sick (thanks DS and DH!) with a cough, congestion, head fullness, etc and immediately started Airbourne. I think that it really helped. I ran out when we went to Las Vegas and started to relapse, so I purchased more and noticed that I felt a ton better the next day. I actually used the store brand since it was cheaper. It is Vit C, Zinc and some herbs...

Thanks for the reminder! I forget about Airborne since it sold out so much during the early days of covid.

My doctor is big on natural remedies like zinc and herbs. He told me to buy Echinacea at Walmart and use for sinus season. It really helped me a lot. Thanks for the tip about Airbourne. I am going to pick some up, just in case I need something, especially with Christmas and being around a lot of people this next week.

Good mornin JB and everyone.

I have my pre op appointment today at 11:20 and then we might go to Sam's. I've been hurting a lot tonight...esp my feet and calves. I can't sleep much due to it...it's gonna be a long day!

My nieces and nephew came over yesterday and my SIL...Rachel is sick. I am so fed up with them bringing them over when they are super sick. It'd be different if they warned us. She ran a fever of almost 102. Now I'm worried I'll get sick and have to postpone the surgery. Hopefully the flu shot will do it's job if that's what she has.

QOTD: hmmm I have no idea!

B: JUST egg cup + coffee

L: ????

D: ????

S: 1/2 cup cheerios and ????
