Thoughts and prayers for your MIL. Hope she is ok.

Knowing someone who is involved in a project makes it so much more interesting.

I am lucky to stay well most of the time also. It seems like DS or DH is always sick with a cold, sore throat, or something.

Good morning all and Happy Tuesday,

The weather has been weird all winter. Yesterday morning, I drove through whiteout conditions for five minutes and then no precipitation at all. There's the old joke that if you don't like the weather in Chicago, just wait five minutes. Here's another couple Chicago knee slappers, 'There are only two seasons in Chicago. Winter and Construction.' For those that like dirty jokes, 'what are 3 Chicago streets that rhyme with a part of a woman's anatomy? Paulina, Melvina, and Lunt.' I'll be here all week.

QOTD- I have big shoes to fill when it comes to being a hypochondriac. My Grandma was a big hypochondriac and we all called her a worry wart. I went from not caring about anything health related to being cautious at the first indication of an issue. I feel like it's a fine line before I tread into hypochondriac territory.

B: Hard boiled egg, Tangerine, carrots.

L: salad w chicken.

D: caprese salad, filet.

Long before Dr Google, my husband would talk to someone who described an illness and convince himself that he had it. I just ignored it, as he was perfectly healthy. There is an old joke about an tombstone that said, "Now do you believe that I was sick?"

Good morning ~ OMG your cats! Mine does that too! I'm happy to hear you were able to reschedule the class. I have yet to try those tacos, but they do call my name. Maybe next time they will come home with me! Things are moving along at work nicely. Today are the interviews for my job. I am not on this panel and may not be on the hiring panel either for transparency reasons. I've gone back and forth pro/con with the 13 applicants. There are many great options, 2 stand out. At this point I just want it over with and to move on! I'm really happy with my choice to move, so happy. Today I am getting a crown replaced after work - fun-fun! The rain is supposed to be bad today, another atmospheric river day. I hope it's not too bad travel wise.

QOTD - Probably? Totally, lol. I question all the aches and pains and I whine about everything. I really just want relief and resolution and will follow through on ALL the things to make that happen if possible. I love when people share with me their experiences with the same/similar issues.

Accountability - I didn't eat the yogurt and only half the chicken at lunch so my protein was 77g out of 100g.

Going for 100 again

b- coffee, egg bites

l - chicken skewers

d- eggs and ham

s - jerky, protein bar

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning. President Clinton's library is very good and wow did that administration accomplish a lot. At the end of the library is a special exhibit on Women's voices, votes, rights. Very small area, but all of the artwork is done in quilts. It was fabulous and the main piece is stunning. I probably stood there for ten minutes picking out people. I'm going to post it and a key of it Friday, but no way does it convey in photos in anyway as amazing as in person.

i did well on food yesterday and got in a thirty minute walk. Finally. And that didn't count the hours in the Library walking around. Or more like barely walking. That slow movement thing really kills my low back and I need to work on strengthening that area.

We leave today for Lake Village, Arkansas...more eating up ground to get to family and friends. We've got about a 3 hour drive. We are setting ourselves up to hopefully be in Charleston on Sunday.

QoTD: No. I definitely am not. While I am diligent about attending to all my medical needs, if I think something is wrong, I assume a "let's wait and see if there is anything to worry about" stance. I get the tests and wait for the results and in the meantime, I live my life.

Food today.

B. Egg and cottage cheese

L. Turkey slices and fontina cheese

D. Pork chop, broccoli and maybe a few potatoes.

Peace Everybody!
