Goooood Morning Everyone! Well I am in a VERY good mood this morning as I sip my coffee and watch the news :) And Jen certainly picked a good night to see Trevor Noah!

Grim and I had to laugh yesterday--why do we decide to periodically completely tear apart the house and change everything??? And why did we choose to do it yesterday when we are a week ahead of hosting Easter??? Right now our house looks like a furniture showroom -- we have two couches and a recliner in the living room while we rearrange stuff. And we went and bought an another new sofa and recliner yesterday... haha. We DO have a plan and it will all get sorted out, but right now the cats are enjoying playing "the floor is lava" while the jump from couch to couch!

I'll let Grim tell you what else he bought that is getting delivered this morning!

Here is how Inigo hangs out when he gets a whole couch to himself. He's so elegant.

Speaking of big purchases, here is my beautiful new Dough Sheeter! His name is Eugene. I used him yesterday and it worked beautifully! And the best news is that I woke up to no new hand pain! Whooooooo!

QOTD: Give us a 10/10 recommendation! Anything--purchases, recipes, stores, restaurants, entertainment, etc. What are you loving?

  • 10/10 for Eugene!
  • 10/10 for the new Celeste Ng book, All Our Missing Hearts.
  • 10/10 for the buffalo cauliflower bites at B Good!
  • 10/10 for the Thin Mint Lean Bar

Good morning QJB and menuers!

Happy Friday! Love the mood. It sounds like quite the project you have going on there! Eugene is a great and underrated name that I only remember someone having in Tangled.

QOTD- Highly recommend Aldi right now. I'm very happy with their selections. Highly recommend my own bed at home, which I miss. Yay for Rainforest Cruises right now!

I'm at the hotel listening to the wind whistle by. Probably not a surprise since I'm on the 4th floor. I plan to walk to the oral surgeon in a couple of hours and have a ride booked back. It may be raining and make the morning a bit more of an adventure!

No pics to share besides doggos, food, or me, so I'll skip it this week!

Accountability- Got light-headed while picking up prescriptions in town yesterday and bought a small Wendy's chili to eat bits of.

Exercise- Just a pleasant morning stroll.

Menu - Maybe protein shakes that I packed in depending how I feel.

Have a great Friday!

Thanks. I'm back at the hotel now with a face full of gauze packs. I feel wiped and it's probably from the nerves and adrenaline. Might be a good time for a nap!

Somehow I'm more worried about my pup who I just learned was attacked by another dog and now has a hole in his ear. Poor baby.

I will be bumping up the vet appointment. My boys probably get better medical care than I do. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Old boy has an appointment since I just found out both his bottom canines are broken. No idea how he managed that but obviously he did something! She did text me back and say it's small, hard to see, and doesn't go all the way through. I'll have to see when picking them up.

Our cats get a lot of help when needed.

Sometimes - you just know something is not right... Once I took my cat to vet because "she became very affectionate" more than normal. That indicated to me that there was a problem. UTI. ugh. My vet gets it when we call and tell her one of ours "is just not herself/himself". I'm very attune to my cats.
