One day at a time. Food? who cares. You can eat anything and everything and calories don't count this week.

Just don't stomach ache.

G'morning all!

Yay for mid week. Oooh that Kitty stretch looks so satisfying.

I'm sure a lot of us felt this way, the bigger we got the smaller space we tried to inhabit in order not to be seen; I wouldn't even stretch. Nowadays one of my morning luxuries is to stretch as much as I can and hear those joints go click click click.

QOTD: sharks, they are not friendly but I'd like to be able to communicate. Because it would go something like this :

Shark: oh, a tasty seal right above me!

Me: nope, just me, a human that does not taste like a seal and doesn't have the flob you are looking for.

Shark: you can't fool me, you are a seal.

Me: I kid you not, I'm not.

Shark: let me take a bite to see if you are right.

Me: your little bite might be the end of me.

Shark: but you look like a seal!

Me: I just wear a wetsuit because the water is cold and it makes me look like a seal. I can give you directions where all the seals are hanging out though.

And Mr shark would be on his way. A much more civilized co-habitation instead of taking a bite out of humans and then spitting them out because they are not seals.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Kebabs w/fage as dip
  • Jello, PP pudding, jerky
  • Tuna pouch w/protein puffs
  • E: cardio+weight

Happy mid week!

That is the best use of animal conversation!!

I just had to google if sharks are colorblind. I totally get the black wet suit looks like a seal thing but didn?t know if a bright wetsuit could help. It won?t, most sharks are colorblind.

  • According to Google

Neoprene, the type of rubber your wetsuit is likely made from, starts off as a milky white color. Carbon black is a key ingredient added, turning the rubber black to increase strength. It also provides heightened UV resistance for the same reason as heat absorption

On the other hand

Since sharks see contrast colors, anything that is very bright against lighter or darker skin can look like a bait fish to a shark. For this reason, he suggests swimmers avoid wearing yellow, white, or even bathing suits with contrasting colors, like black and white. Divers and swimmers can probably reduce the chance of an interaction with a shark by avoiding bright and highly contrasting swimwear or dive gear. We personally prefer to use dark blue or black fins, mask, tank, and wetsuit while diving.

All my swimsuits are bright colors. I guess I need to stay in the pool and not the ocean.

I do remember and they always came for single women living in apartments. I have a RING camera on the front door, so should be safe if one comes to my house

This is why my favorite place to swim is the bathtub. Sharks, alligators, snakes, in the open water, chlorine and other pee-ple in the pools. Bathtub is best.
