Good Morning everyone! Almost to the weekend! Yay!

Last night's Dolly event was good. She debuted her new album, Rockstar, around the world at theaters last night. It was a mix of original songs that she asked rock legends to sing on, and a mix of covers of classic rock songs, again with the original artists contributing. The music was all great--Dolly never disappoints. And Grim was so sweet to find it and get us tickets. I will try to post a photo Friday of us in our shirts, but we need to retake the pic because apparently the bartender in the theater bar does not have a future in portrait photography, and that picture should be burned!

QOTD: Do you have a favorite Dolly Parton song? I seriously love all her music so much. But I'll go with: 9-5, Joshua, Love is Like a Butterfly, Light of a Clear Blue Morning, Jolene, and The Bargain Store :)

Accountability: I forgot we were going out when I made yesterday's menu! I had a whitefish taco and a Moscow Mule. Then at the movies I had some popcorn and a glass of white wine. The rest of the day was on track, except for an extra piece of snacking cheese.

Good morning! Dare I say, I don't know any Dolly songs except 9 to 5 and Jolene? Don't unfriend me! She's just not my speed and then on top of the country twang is that deep layer of evangelism which is another thing I don't relate to haha. My sister in law briefly named my niece Jolene but a few days later changed it to Penelope Jolene, because she wanted to call her Penny Jo. She is from Michigan, not Arkansas, but we will leave that there :)

Tonight is a strength cardio class and then a sleepover at a friends and we all head up to Deep Creek Lake tomorrow morning. It's going to be 70 here today and then up in Swanton MD it will be a high of 40! Hikes, bonfires, hot tub, wine and cheese - it's going to be heavenly!

I'm really focusing on stopping eating like an ********o here goes:

B: leftover tuna made with spicy pickles and mayo

L: chicken thighs (have to figure out how to make this less boring)

D: tbd - something from Trader Joe's - maybe jalapeño chicken sausage

E: strength and cardio at a new gym - pray for me!
Have a fabulous Friday Eve!

I will not unfriend you. But I will educate you!

Your breakfast sounds intriguing. Where are those spicy pickles from? Yum!

I know, she does have a super philanthropic heart, which I love about her! I should have mentioned that.

These are Killer Dave's sweet and spicy pickles. They looked so good I bought like a 55 gallon drum of them at Costco lol. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but seriously it was a big jar. They are so good and really make the tuna so delicious. I love pickles.

Good to know, I need something to kick up my tuna. I'll look for them next time.

Have you tried the Devil's Spit ones. They get spicier the longer they are in the fridge

Have a wonderful trip of R & R. It even sounds like you may have time for a wine and whine session.

I'm right along with you, eating like a chump lately. I've made progress from a month ago though and am seeing results on the scale again. Still, I'm consuming way too much sugar, carbs, snacking, late night nibbling, etc

It's so freaking hard, every day. I know my success lies in my actions, and I just have to take responsibility of what goes in my mouth. One day at a time, right!
