What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Tuesday Morning Gang.
Wow can I tell you all how much stuff I got done in the last 4 days. At the end of this post I am going to photo bomb you all. It started with Friday getting the front yard all cleaned up by the house and picked up some hanging plants from Mackey's.
Then Saturday I helped Irvin move a bunch of Hemi motors he had on pallets in the backyard onto a flatbed truck and weed wacked the wall, around the garden, and every place else. Sunday, we moved the big boxes I got from work over to the garden so I can use them as raised beds, started to plant some stuff in the big pots I have along the wall, and weed wacked around the horse and goat paddocks. Yesterday we got a fire going in one of the fire pits and worked on getting the garden all straightened out. I did not want to get up this morning, but I have a short week because I have this Friday off. I did lose 5lbs from all of the work I did with getting over 15000 steps in each day.
QOTD: How was everyone Memorial Day? Mine was great got things done and then grilled some chicken wings and enjoyed a glass of wine. My sister Missy stopped by unexpectedly and she got to see the goats and I gave her some veggie plants.
B: coffee and breakfast wrap
L: leftover chicken wings
D: chicken burgers and salad
No exercise today a bit tired from all the yard work.
Last thing I have to do is power wash the house, but my step-son is borrowing our power washer so that will have to wait. Meisha was watching Mufasa with me Saturday night and was lying on her back for most of the movie. She's such a goober head.
Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Tuesday mornin y'all.
not a lot going on today. We may take a drive somewhere or do something. My mom hasn't decided yet. I need to do some stuff around the house. The weather is misty and cool. It rains on and off all day yesterday. Nice change from the heat we usually have. I over did it yesterday cleaning and moving stuff in my bedroom. I got my bed moved against the other wall to free up some room. I'm going to get rid of some craft stuff. All my stuff has to fit in my bedroom and it's crowded. I'm sick of it. I will need a new nightstand but other than that nothing else needs to be bought.
a few weeks ago my mom bought a new couch for the house. The dogs had ruined the two parts of the sectional we had left. So they are out on the curb and we'll call today to have the city pick it up. The new couch was such a good deal and is a queen sleeper sofa. Will make having the kids over easier. I'm really looking forward to it. Should be here by the end of the week or so. It's dark gray and it'll be nice to have a place to lay down in here that isn't the floor! The sofa came to 699. Over 300 bucks off.
QOTD: it was ok. We took so,e flowers and flags out to our veterans graves. I don't like doing this but my mom and aunt do it because my grandpa did it every year. It brings me no comfort...none whatsoever. I got a lot done in my room and will be finishing that up this week. Noticed confederate flags out at the cemetery in mass so that was upsetting to me.
B: egg burrito and coffee
L: thinking chicken or some shrimp spring rolls
D: totally unknown,
my weight has been stalled for a couple of weeks or so. Haven't been bad but it happens so I need to shake it up a bit.
How it started. How it?s going now.
Did we even know that Cindy Lu Who is now a Rock Star?
Her band, The Pretty Reckless, warmed up for AC/DC on Saturday Night. Apparently after Gilmore Girls she left acting and modeling and is a full time singer. She did not perform Fah Who Doraze, or any other Grinch related music.
The pool looks great and Marilyn is coming home tomorrow morning. I will pick her up after swimming tomorrow.
QOTD: great weekend, caught up on sleep, concert, Murph yesterday, a little fishing and dinner with my sons last night.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: catered
Dinner: chili
Have a great day, all!

Hi All -
should be a nice day today - high 60s/low 70s. Zero chance of rain this morning - 20% later on this afternoon, so I'll go out biking some time today. I ate way too much over the weekend and am feeling really bloated and awful, so I'll be sticking to a plan today and getting some good exercise to boot. I need to really stick to the plan regularly because at 10 years out (it'll be 10 years on June 3, so next week!), I'm finding myself straying more and more often. MUST STOP.
QOTD: we met up with some of my cousins in downtown Chicago on Sunday. At the last minute we decided to spend the night at a hotel that was on the way home since day tripping down there is definitely do-able but a bit exhausting. I'm glad we did. It was nice staying at a hotel and we had a leisurely trip back. One of the cousins we met up with (actually a second cousin) said there's a family funeral in Milwaukee on Friday. I had no idea I had relatives in Milwaukee. The woman who died would have been my father's second cousin. Julie (Chicago cousin) suggested I go to the funeral - she'll be there, and I'll be able to meet more of our relatives, she said. I feel kind of funny going to funeral for some relative I never knew existed to meet more relatives whom I also never knew existed - but I don't know - it could be interesting. Plus it's only an hour away, and I have no plans for Friday, and Julie will be there, so....???
B: plain Greek yogurt with blackberry compote, coffee with half & half
L: protein/grain bowl
S: Greek yogurt - and maybe carrot sticks with black bean dip
D: salmon filet and some kind of vegetable
now hopefully I'll stick to this plan!!!!
have a great day, everyone!
I believe my father went to funerals for people he did not really know. They were big Irish funerals with lots of food and whiskey. He used to go with his sister, usually on Saturday nights and they enjoyed the socializing and being with relatives. I think it might be interesting to attend that funeral. Enjoy your nice day today.
We used to call my grandmother the designated mourner. If there was a funeral she was there. Not sure if she stayed for the service and food but I know she went to every viewing.

Good morning Jenniefer and Menuer's
Well, this will be the week I know my faith in this company. I am hoping it is not as bad as I am thinking, and I have to remember it will be only a sentence of 5-7 years. So it won't be that bad. Weekend was great. They loved the Galbi and the Prime rib. We used the Texas Roadhouse recipe for the prime rib, and it came out perfect. I did get to gym both Saturday and Sunday and I was able to put away all the stuff I cleaned out of my office from the move. I am hoping the weather starts to warm up I am ready for some pool time. The pool is open and crystal clear now all we need is the sunshine.
QOTD: Pretty relaxing. I did a lot of cooking and cleaning and entertaining for the family. I did do a dry weekend not one ****tail. I really need to take off some weight. As I progress, I will let you know how it is going.
Accountability: I stayed away from desserts and most carbs. I did have a smoked turkey sandwich at the Pittsburgh Food truck festival, but I only get it once a year and it is worth the cheat.
