Happy Monday Gang. It was nice to have a three-day weekend, and this is another short week for me going into my vacation week next week. The heatwave officially started yesterday. Thank God for central air. I was doing some gardening throughout the day with taking breaks in the cool house.

Friday we were not able to go strawberry picking because every place was closed for ripening, so I came up with a plan to go mini golfing instead. We had so much fun it was way better than picking strawberries.

QOTD: Who here likes things like mini golf, go-karts, etc.? I haven't been mini golfing or go-karting in years and I told Irvin I want us two to go since the place in less than 10 minutes from us. There is also a place in Somers, CT that has bummer boats, batting cages, mini-golf and all sorts of fun stuff.

B: coffee and1/2 cup cottage cheese with raspberries

L: garden salad

D: chicken loaf with fresh swiss chard

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning, everyone!

I had a great trip to Florida: did some fishing swam in the newly renovated pool, bought a bicycle (and took a few rides) went out for a lobster boil and actually got some work done. It went by way too fast.

The boil was lobster (Maine), snow crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, corn and potatoes. Washed it down with a Modelo for a great dinner.

The bad news? I left almost all of my medication in Florida. Over the next day or so, I have to figure out what to do about that. We are leaving for a cruise on Sunday, so going back down isn't really an option.

QOTD: I love stuff like that!

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: meatballs

Have a great day all!

Good mornin to y'all!

it was a so so weekend. Kind of busy but one day was kind of lazy so it wasn't so bad. Today will be busy. All three kids stayed the night last night. We'll have them until 6ish. We have to run my old cricket to my aunt who bought it and my supplies. Glad to get it out of the house!

I have an appointment everyday the rest of the week. My last two PTs are this week, Tuesday and Friday. Psych provider and PCP the days between. I need to get my list of things to talk with my pcp. Lots to do today. Already made the kid's breakfast. Well two of em. Rachel is still asleep.

QOTD: I like those kind of things but I rarely do them anymore. Some due to the pain but also we just don't make time for it.

B: egg, turkey sausage, cheese and coffee

L: not 100% sure

D: probably some chicken and broccoli

this is a little orb I made for earrings. Itty bitty.

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuers,

I was able to enjoy the pool and had a wonderful picnic. However, picnic involved Strawberry shortcake, and I overate way too much. Not so much Saturday but last night after 6 I was snacking on the leftovers. Not good. The hot weather is going to continue all week. I do not see myself going to the pool after work today. I will give it till Wednesday. I am not crispy burnt, but I took in a lot of sun, so I need to remoisturize before I get any more.

QOTD: I love doing all of that stuff but usually don't because Ron is not able to do it without a lot of pain.

Accountability: I did hit the gym but overate yesterday.

Good Morning and happy new week! Those are great pics and it looks likes a ton of fun. We had a good weekend and were able to go apricot picking (right before the season closed for this particular ranch). So I was able to spend some time making some jam, a cobbler and slicing a few freezer bags full and I was still able to bring in a basket fill for the office. This week should be good for working on some projects and I have two dr appt, one of which is today so two short work days.

QOTD:Mini golf is fun!

Menu is standard during the day and tonight I'll have shredded beef tacos (zero net carb tortillas) with mashed avocado, cauliflower rice and some no sugar added apricot cobbler. Water and vits on track, exercise done.

I hope everyone has a great day!
