Good Morning Gang. Another week in the books and it went rather quickly.

Yesterday turned out to be a very interesting day at work. While in the scale house I heard all sorts of chatter on the 2-way radio that we all have so we can communicate things to each other. At 11am I called into my purchasing person to ask her what the heck is going on in the plant. She told me that on the night shift the APO took a 2 1/2 hour nap and neither the acting SS or PO woke him up to go check on the conveyor. The conveyor takes what is leftover from burning the trash and sorts it into either the ash loadout area or metals area. Well long story short there was a huge plug that stopped the conveyor and backed up the expellers which almost took the plant offline. The APO was woken up and he and the SS tried for an hour to unplug the mess, but they just made it worse. And the icing on the cake neither one of them were tied off or in a harness while doing this. They were over 10ft in the air on top of an unstable mess of ash and metal. How they are not fired is beyond me. They broke so many safety and environmental rules. Since I have access to the camera system I was able to see everything.

I have an appointment this morning at my bariatric doctor so have to get a couple of things done at work quick before I go there.

QOTD: If someone has one please feel free to add it.

B: coffee and 2 soft boiled eggs

L: salad with cottage cheese on top

D: baked fish with steamed zucchini

Swimming at the Y.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!!

Good mornin menu folks!

That sounds crazy Jennifer! I'm glad they are ok but geez you'd think they'd have a brain about it all.

Today we're going out with my aunt for thrifting and lunch. I think they are wanting to go to Blue Sky for lunch.

Yesterday was HECTIC. The kids never ever stopped talking from the get go. Nonstop gibberish lol. They are constantly trying to "roast" each other. It's comical but man are they harsh. They fought a lot too. Of course. I was glad when my brother picked em up. lol

QOTD: what is one thing in the next few weeks you're looking forward to?

I see the orthopedic doctor on the 16th and I'm glad about that! So looking forward to getting this shoulder fixed. I've also got to ask about my left hip.

B: unfortunately an apple fritter and coffee

L: prob a children's burger meal

D: orange chicken and some veggie

a few pics of things I've made. The dreamcatcher is an older piece and the other one is a belt I'm working on for my boss(the bottom one) and it's going to end up with things inbetween them that my boss will do. The other two are memes of course!

When I worked night shift one girl's mom called and asked if her Cindy had a pillow and blanket. I knew they slept but did not know about the blanket and pillow. We never had anything back up while they were sleeping and they did get everything done when they got up .

I guarantee those people have been sleeping on the job and got away with nothing going wrong. They probably won't get fired over it.

QOTD: Nothing special but I look forward to every day. When you reach 77 you treasure every day. Even the cold rainy ones.
