It's Friday-Eve gang. Boy was it cold this morning and tonight the high is supposed to be 5 degrees. We still have no phones at work not sure what is going on. The internet is working fine thankfully. Other than that another slow quiet day.

Last night while at the Y the fire alarm went off and they had to evacuate so we got about 15 minutes in, but I guess that's better than nothing. I have a few coats to donate so I need find a place to take them.

QOTD: Does anyone eat seaweed snacks? While at the Asian market yesterday I stumbled upon some Korean seaweed snacks. So, I bought some and OMG they are so tasty. Thin little squares of deliciousness.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: chicken soup and salad

D: baked pork chops and spinach

Hitting the Y as long as it's open which I think it is.

Have a great day everyone!!!

So yesterday was a **** fest. Instead of rewriting it I'll paste my Facebook post.

Yesterday was my preop appointments. What a ******g nightmare.

First one was stupid...absolutely no reason they couldn't have done it over the phone. Second is the nightmare part. A single vial of blood and an ekg took nearly 3 ******g hours. Mind you this all took place almost two hours away in Lubbock. I was feeling very rough to begin with. We had to leave our house at around 9:30ish. Went to get gas then we left town around 10. We got home around 6:40 PM. So pissed. The only good experience was the intake nurse and the receptionist that checked me in for the second one.

The tech that did the blood draw was absolutely nasty after I told her I have deep and rolling veins. She could have been worse but **** it hit me wrong. At that point I was crying a bit, just tears but I was PISSED. When I am that mad I cry. My pain level was a 9. I had to sit way to damned much without being able to walk around. We were in the dark for the last hour of the ride home.

My back is super agitated along with my hips and legs. My body feels so damned broken. My spirit is nearly there as well..

One good thing about my surgery(well there is more than one, hopefully the pain will be better) is that it isn't at that god awful hospital. You can bet that when they send the survey I will let them have it. Most inept place I've ever been in

I'm glad it's over though sorry for the language but it's just a lot for me.

Some good...not great news! Last month the kitty we took in, momma, was moved to Nebraska and she was adopted last week! Woo hoo she deserves all the love in the world and this organization is legit and they heavily vet adopters. This made my heart sing a happy tune after a **** day!

we got about 2 inches of snow overnight...maybe more but a lot of it may of melted.

QOTD: oh lord yes I love them! I don't get them as often because I totally overate them. I love teriyaki if you can find it. If you like spicy they have wasabi. I love plain and sesame too. I get em from Sam's clubs and they are more affordable that way for me.

B: 4mini quiches and coffee
