What's on your Thursday Menu?
Happy Friday Eve Gang!! Well yesterday turned into a crazy day at work. The quarterly random drug testing roster that was sent to the plants had all incorrect information on them. I've been working with the other Ops Specialist to get things all sorted out with Fleetworthy the third-party company that sends out the randoms. Then we sent one of the plow trucks to have and exhaust leak fixed, but the garage only half fixed it. It almost seemed like the leak was worse. You wouldn't be able to drive the truck for more than a few minutes the smell was so bad and we need it before the big storm this weekend. Hopefully the garage can get it fixed.
QOTD: ready made or powdered protein which do you prefer? I like them both. Premier Protein is my go to for premixed shakes and Isopure is what I use when I want to mix the shakes myself. I do use the premixed ones to make pudding at times.

Good mornin y'all.
lots todo today. Some house prep and checking on things. They are now saying we'll get some ice then heavy snow. Now upwards of 12". So we're going to add some insulation to the spigots outside. We have three. Make sure the basement is ok and turn up the stove down there. Texas is not made for this. We're more prepared because our water lines are deeper but south Texas is in trouble. Just saw Amarillo is in the 12 to 18 inch prediction on the map. Holy shiiiit.
we have to get some groceries. Cat food and some dog treats. I need to stop with the steel cut oats. It spikes my BS to high. I was sooooo hoping they'd be ok as I do like oats a lot. So no more. Need to figure out something different for breakfast. I might get some kale or Swiss chard to do eggs in. A friend fixed it for me and I loved it. You put a leaf down and fry an egg in it. If I can find it I'll get chard but I'm betting I'll find it. I need to spice it up a bit. Any ideas?
QOTD: I should drink more protein. I am struggling with it. I just don't like chocolate so much and it's all I have. I love premier protein the most. I usually almost always do premade. I have some unflavored isopure so I may up using that in yogurt or something.

I mix spinach with scrambled eggs and a little cheese. I also add a bit of black ground pepper, onion powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder. I do microwave the spinach a little to soften it first.
Sorry I've been MIA lately! I've been buried under moving boxes, hunting for a weight loss surgeon, and keeping up with the kids as a single mom. It's been a lot!
Staying on track with my meals, though:
Breakfast: Whipped Ricotta & Fruit Crostini
Lunch: Tuna & White Bean Salad
Dinner: Sheet Pan Chicken Piccata
