Hey all! Usually I eat 1-2 boiled eggs, a cheese stick, and maybe some dried fruit. I have also do a really small lean cuisine or some such. I can manage about 1/3 of a taco bell taco salad (no shell), Sometimes I do leftovers. Luckily neither my wife nor I have struggled with that since our WLS. About 2 months out (beginning of the school year), I struggled with eating at work. I rushed too much and couldn't keep things down. Oh how things have changed. Best of luck all. --Brett! -107 lbs. 363/256/185?

My pouch isn't as sensitive as some - (could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it) I eat whatever kind of meat they are serving in the school cafeteria, unless its fried, then I eat their salad choice. I just never remember to bring my lunch. I usually have a skimmed milk also for the protein - I lose more when I drink milk. -Sherrie

Well, ground beef plain would gag me and I haven't had my WLS...yet. I eat those Smartones meals now for lunch and wish I had two, so I can't imagine sharing one. You teachers are doing great. I had my initial, but am waiting for summer so I can be off work. I teach special ed./severely handicapped high school students and I am finding that I can't keep up with the kids or the pace. The day is exhausting. This is my second year teaching. Period. Going to college. One more year. I really need to take care of myself so I can continue this path. My coworker, an aid had WLS and I watch how she eats: Pot pies and pizza bread. Our lunch line is pretty bad. Hey they even added an energy drink to the line and I don't know why they think the kids need that much caffeine. Rambling Diane

I usually do a protein drink for lunch! I also keep string cheese and "go-gurt" in my little refrigerator in my room. And, of course, PowerCrunch protein bars SAVE ME sometimes!! Sometimes I have the chunky soups in the little ready-to-heat-up containers. I have a microwave in my room. It's funny...our school district makes us pay $5 a month if we have refrigerators or microwaves in our room!! Do we REALLY use that much electricity??? Stagedoor Debbie

I'm still pre-op... I try to keep it light. My sleep apnea still effects my afternoons and if i don't eat light then I get really drowsy during 6th and 7th period. we get 40 minutes... so it's a good social time!
