Hi guys,  I had my surgery monday (the 18th).  Everything went well, however I am still having gas pains.  Very bad.  My doctor told me to take gasx which seems to help, however I can only take four in a 24 hour period.  Did anyone else experience this?  Anyone have any suggestions on how to slow them down? Because I would like to be able to eat something (small, of course) without having an uncomfortable feeling along with my soreness.

Walking will also help move the gas along. I find that Rolaids Multi Symptom works better than GasX. Sorry you are feeling uncomfortable. This will get better!

Hi. Like Susan said - walking is the best way to get it moving and out. I know how hard that may be right now while still recovering but the more you can get up and walk and move around will help. I hope you feel better soon.

On the Main Board someone that had their surgery on the 20th said walking  and rocking while sitting helps with the gas.........maybe try that! Leticia
