I got approved!!!

Can you believe it?  After two denials from CIGNA I finally got approved!  I'm so happy!!!!  When the phone rang I was sitting with two co-workers and I told them it was someone from Baptist calling.  We all three bowed our heads and said a prayer before I answered the phone.   The caller had such a lovely voice..."Hello Freddie, this is Amy from Dr. Spaw's office and I have some good news!  You've been approved!"  We all cheered and cried and hugged!  It was a great moment!   Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive when I was about to give up.  This time I am coming to the luncheon because now I know that I REALLY get to join the loser's club!!! Whoo Hoo. CONGRATS Freddie! I am really happy for you. I know it was a long time coming but soon you will be joining us on the losers bench. See you at the next luncheon - although you know you were always welcome to come regardless! Time to paaarrrty!!

Okay now...we are all in this group together.  Who is your surgeon?  I think the key to approval was the documentation my PCP turned in (on my third try.)  Dr. Spaw's staff was fabulous!!!  I can't say enough good things about them.  They knew exactly how to get through the process and were willing to work with my PCP.  Once I turned everything in, they checked with CIGNA daily and then let me know what was going on.  What a Godsend!  Can you tell that I am happy to be with Dr. Spaw?   Be patient and just don't accept defeat!!!  Where there is a will there is a way!!! :) Big ole smile! Congrats!  I am approved and waiting on my date!!..Dr Virginia Weaver.... from Saint Francis Hospital ......Memphis,TN..... is my  surgeon.......Insurance companies..make us jump through hoops....but in the end it will be work it!!..............

Freddie,         I truly believe that God was allowing you to be denied until you it was the perfect time and place for you , guess what, now it is and I am so happy for you!
