It looks like we are going to have our next luncheon this Saturday August 11, 2007 1:00 @ Cozymel's in Cool Springs!!!                                                                 Mariachi Band

I have spoken to Warren Cox the manager tonight and he said that the children's menu may not be a good choice for us, because they put french fries and banana pudding with each child's meal.  However, he said we can order  Waiter Ala Carte with no problems and they have plenty of protein to choose from, he also did not have a problem with us sharing meals, he was very nice!!!    I made a list and I have the following on the list  Pad of those attending; April, Pam E. Alyssia, Rhonda B. Scott, Beth, RJ, Freddie and her daughter, Missy, Juanita, Melissa, Toni, Elena, Twyanna and Jay,  Kym, Melinda + one, possibly Connie Coe from It's All Sugar Free, Dale and myself!!  If I have missed anyone, please let me know.  We have a reservation in the Private Dinning room called the Tennessee Room, we are under the name THE LUNCH BUNCH!!!  I am listed as the contact.  Can't wait to see all you  Loser LOSERS on Saturday!! Shelia Susan said she would post the directions for everyone Map , since I would probably have you all driving in circles!!   Road Rage LOL Shelia

Missy,

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your aunt and grandmother's passing. I know that is very hard to deal with, especially within such close proximity of one another.

Secondly, don't let one person keep you from posting your thoughts and feelings. That is what the "blogging" part is for. It has been very beneficial to me. Some people can be so small minded and just stupid. So what if you ate out of emotion.....I've done it many times and so has this person who wrote the hateful note.... otherwise he/she wouldn't be on obesity help. He/she obviously has a problem as well with eating!! There is a reason why this site is called obesity help. I hate to hear that happened to you and it really infuriates me! Ugghh...people! At any rate, put your story back up, people find it inspirational and I think it helps put your life in perspective... I mean seeing it in black and white really is an eye opener, at least it was for me when posting. Well... enough of my rambling! See you Saturday!

Missy,                It makes me equally as angry to see that someone would do this to you or anyone for that matter.  This site, especially the TN Forum has prided ourselves for being understanding, we have faced that type of discrimination all of our lives and there is not room for it here.  I really pray that you do not let their ignorance stop or hinder you in any way.  Your story is inspiring to those that read it and it can help someone, even if only one person is inspired, you have done a wonderful thing, but I promise you more than one person will be inspired by your story.  We love you here, you are a part of us, and one thing we do here is stick up for our "TN OH FAMILY"!!  I will pray that this person will reach out and get some help to realize their issues and can be as strong as you have been.  I also really hate to hear about your losses this week, I know that has been difficult, but you need to make sure you get in all your protein and water so your health does not suffer.  We are here for you if you need us, always remember that!! Shelia

Shiela, You can add me to the list. see you Saturday!  Missy,  I am so sorry to hear about your aunt and grandmother. My sympathies go out to your family. Make sure you are taking care of yourself during this trying time. I hate to hear that someone was negative toward you. That makes me pretty upset actually. That is why I try to stick with the TN board because everyone here  is so supportive. It is not right to judge others and I am sorry to hear that you had to deal with that. Just know there are more people like us on here than like them and we are all here for you - for each other.  We all have to struggle with weight and our personal demons and it is not right for anyone else to make comments or judgement about our struggles. This world would be a better place if we all just got along and supported each other and did not judge or be negative. And like your momma always told you - treat others like you want to be treated. A Motto I try to live by everyday. 40 Pounds in less than a month is great. Keep up the great work. Hope to see you Saturday.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my sympathies. As for the backstabbing coward who sent you the nasty note...I certainly hope and pray this is not one of our regular posters. That is not what this board has ever been about. We have been family. We are brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and sometimes moms and dads to each other. Every person on this site has been through experiences that have made us turn to food as a way of dealing with what was going on. To judge someone else for how they react in a situation is just not acceptable. Please do not let one small minded person keep you from expressing what you need to so you can grow and become the person you want to be. We may not have walked the exact path you have, but we all have similar experiences with food issues or we wouldn't be here. Whine on babycakes! If ever someone was entitled to a whine, it's you.
