Hi Annrenee. I eat the Power Crunch bars. I love them. It sounds like you are looking to use a lot of protein supplements. My advise is to that you need to watch how much protein powder and protein bars you are eating. You are now 6 months out and the further you get out from surgery, the more you will have to begin to pay attention to calories and amount of food you are eating. The further you are out, the more you should get your protein from food as you can eat more. If you are eating three regular meals a day and then eating or drinking additional protein shakes and bars two or three additional times a day, that is a lot of additional calories. I eat my powercrunch bar as breakfast or I eat one as a snack (4th meal) and that is it. My suggestion is to use the shakes or protein bars as a meal or  a snack once a day in addition to your normal three meals but not more than once a day (no more than 4 meals and/or snacks a day). Because they can have quite a few calories in them. You should journal or use fitday.com for a few days to see how many calories and protein you are getting in everyday. You may find out that you are getting plenty of protein from food and only need to supplement an additional protein supplement once. I hope that makes sense. But that is just my opinon and advise to make sure you are watching what you are eating/drinking now that you are getting further out and now that the plateaus are starting. Fitday.com or journaling for a few days will let you know how you are doing.

Misty, I am glad to hear from you, no not looking to do alot of protein just want to have options instead of the same ole same ole,  i do eat yogurt, string cheese, boiled eggs,  So for the past couple of weeks I have been eating most of my protein, but I try to have one protein drink and i like to have something different .  But I am also glad that you said something about not having protein supplements all the time, Thank you so much you and sue and mel and others have helped me so much.  I just like different ideas of protein because I am so picky of the taste.

Misty is absolutely right. The protein bars should be used for an occasional meal replacement/treat. They are generally too high in carbs & calories to be eaten everyday in addition to meals. I have a protein shake for breakfast each day and that is about it. Well, in addition to my scoop of Nectar Cappuccino in my first cup of coffee each day. I may have another before bed if I've had a day that I craved salad and am low on protein. I do track my calories and carb/fat/protein intake on fitday.  Was your vanilla orange smoothie the Gladiator? You could have asked the counter person what the high protein/low carb options were.  Not knowing your taste preferences, we cannot tell you what flavor protein powder to order. All we can tell you are the ones we have tried and liked. There is no guarantee that you will like the same thing. Go online and look at the flavor options and pick the one that sounds most appealing to you. I will tell you that I have not found any of the Gourmet Whey flavors that I don't like. You might want to start with a vanilla that you can change with your DaVinci syrups. That will give you the most variety. The jug of Gourmet Whey is over 70 servings so being able to change it up will keep you from getting bored with one flavor.
