Hi everyone
Move over I'm ready take my place on THE BENCH. I'm feeling a little hope this morning that things will be getting better for me. It has been a rough 12 days and there are parts of it that I don't remember going through and it is probably a good thing. The last thing I remember for Monday Oct 1st was taking a breathing treatment after they put me in the surgery holding area. I know that was after lunch then nothing until some time Tuesday. I kinda remember hearing something about giving me blood and also about passing a lot of gas. I guess I was really out of it for some time. I want to thank every one for the prayers and concern for me. You never know who your friends are until something like this happens. I also found out how much my hubby loves me after 45 years you start to take them for granted. For my hubby to keep coming into that hospital day after day was beyond the call of duty. He has a real fobia about medical places. Love you all. Lee Lee
Birdy,
Gald you are home and on the mend. It will tke some time, but it will get better. I wanted you to know how special your husband really is. He kept us posted on your status pretty much every day or so and the concern in his letters was true. After all of the nasty things you have said about him or his actions, I was expecting a awful man, not someone who truely loves his wife and cares about her well being. I hope this has opened your eyes a bit to the man you married and not to the man you made him out to be. I'm sorry this is harsh, but his concern and love for you was so evident, that he must really love you. Love him back.
Beth
Rjsmom I love my hubby and always have you have only been in contack with him a short time. Yes I said some harsh & nasty things about him in the past but he is my husband of 45 years and I have the right to say what ever I want about him. There are days when he drives me up the wall and I'm sure I do the same. I wass told to come here and vent when I wanted to and then I get flamed for it. The things I said about him was ment for him to see. I'm 66 years old and I want a few things in life and if he won't let me get them I get mad so from now on I will keep my remarks to myself. Lee Lee,
So glad you are home & finally doing better. You & Jan really put a scare in me. Then, not hearing from Kim & Flip, I was ready to give up on trying to get approved. I hope all works out for each of you.
Yea, times like this make you really see how special your spouses are. We should never take them for granted.
Take care & get well soon,
Ellen

Glad to see you on the mend. You gave us quite a scare. I looked for hubby's update each day and was so happy when they started having good reports.
For having such a rough start, you need an extra cushiony loser's bench.
