Changes at Vanderbilt

Found out at my visit to Vanderbilt Wednesday that Christian Ketel and Jennifer Ginnings have both left.  I'm still in the preliminary stages of approval and wondering what's going on. Anyone know what the deal is?

We don't know what happened, one day went there saw Christian. Got a call, and on a Sun. received a call that needed to change around my  appointments that Christian was no longer there. And then later found out about Jennifer. So, that is all I think that the rest of us know too.

Got a call last night about 8 pm. from Vandy. A Eric who took over Jennifer Ginnings position, seems very nice, I was impressed that he was still at work. He said he would be in the office all day sat. working, checking on patients ins. and other request. As we know they've had staffing changes, but he wanted to reassure me that the quality and standards are still in place. Their in the process of hiring someone to fill Christian's position. I still have confidence in their system.

I think we can all relax. I have been communicating with them about my EGD and them changing one of my prescriptions and they always call back as promptly as possible. I'm more pleased with them now than I was before I had to start my 6 month diet last year. I talked to a Jennifer one of the Nurse Practitioners and she went over my itenarary seeing what appointments I had scheduled and if she had to make any appointments for me. She did tell me that I was moving right along and continuing to complete my requirments and that they would see me soon. I can honestly say that I "am" looking forward to the other side of my journey at Vandy.

 WOW!!! I was just at Vanderbilt for my post op Nutrition appt Wed. and nobody said a word about both of them leaving.  I really liked Christian.  He was very friendly and answered any questions  I had before surgery.  They still have some good people that work there so you'll be fine.

Hi all, I was well into my process when on my last visit to see Christian, my appointment was at 8:30 and didn't get in to see anyone until 1.  After that you know, I was thinking maybe a wee****il it was submitted to insurance.  Wrong!!  Well it has now been 1 month and I talked to my insurance today and they still don't have anything from Vanderbilt.  I am tired of messing with Vanderbilt and have switched to Baptist.   If I can get Vanderbilt to send over my records that is.  I have been asking for that for 3 days and hopefully that will be done soon.

Talk to Freddie, because she went through something very similar changing over to Baptist.  You will not be sorry that you have changed, but I really hate that this has happened to you, I am a firm believer that God does things for a reason, so take this as a positive sign!!!   Shelia

I had an appointment with the nutritionist, Jennifer Angus. While there, I met Eric McWilliams, who took Jennifer Ginnings place. He's a real nice guy. He and his staff are in the process of going over all the patients info and evaluating where each patient is in the process. Looks like everything should be back on track soon.
