A Great Big Thank YOU!!!!!

I just wanted to thank you all for participating in the Walk from Obesity Yard Sale. From donating clothes, to spreading the word, to coming and shopping, to helping out with the sale itself. Many of you just stopped by to say hi, which was a great boost to those of us freezing out there.

The unofficial talley for the yard sale is $1,260.00 plus 4 walk signups and 3 cookbook sales. I know if we had had better weather, we probably would have done better, but I am so happy with how we did do. Thank you all again for making this possible!!! You guys are the bestest!

I personally want to THANK Paula for all the hard work she put into this sale to make it a success!!! I do not know if you realize she has had an office full of clothes, basically since she started at Baptist. She organized, separated all the clothes by size, packed the vans (twice, might I say), set up, had a tent collapsed on her, and got rained on, but she SMILED and made sure it was a SUCCESS!! I also want to take the time, to thank everyone else that came to help out, stop by to simply say "Hi" , purchase clothes, or contributed clothes. The walk is a wonderful cause and this is a great BIG boost to jump start "Our" Nashville Walk!!! THANKS AGAIN, Paula for all your hard work in planning and preparing this sale!!!! Okay, I give I do not know why it has my name listed a few times, I have tried to edit it and it will not allow me to delete it. it appears, I am having technical difficulties!! LOL

Woo Hoo!!! I was wondering what the final tally was. I had a great time, even if the only thing I could find to purchase was a pair of boots. It was great to see so many people and get to answer some questions from shoppers who were curious about WLS for themselves but had never been to a seminar. I too appreciate all of your hard work. This would not have happened without you.
