Good afternoon!  I am doing a "drive by" post again...  on my way out the door in about 5 minutes so gotta make it real quick!  If you haven't posted to the thread before, would you consider it?  I am bored with food again, and your food choices help give me ideas!  Even if you want to drop a few lines to say "here's an idea" I would absolutely love it.  My idea for a good meal is easy... very easy!   I started the day with a Nectar cappucino Later had egg salad (really, just cut up boiled egg, packet of mayo & 1/2 packet mustard... a real quickie) Another nectar cappuccino Lunch was the most awesome stir fry concoction from the cafeteria.  Carl made it up just for me... with vegs, chicken, a little pesto and soy sauce, topped with parmesan and feta cheese.  It was great! Supper - not certain yet what it will consist of... but it will definitely have protein! How did your eating go today?

I don't have any good ideas for you because I am pretty boring and routine with my food. I definatley understand getting tired of the same ol and wanting something new.  Breakfast - SW Egg Beaters w/cheese and salsa - 1 Whole wheat toast with SF Preserves Snack - banana Lunch  - Wrap made with Itilian Herb Flatout Bread with Turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, dijon mustard and mayo and a side of raw carrots with ranch. FYI -The Flatout Bread is good! Bread always sits bad with me but not this. It is made for wraps and is low in calories and carbs. Really good.   Snack - Yoplait Light Yogurt Snack - Powercrunch Bar Dinner - Don't know - probably left over chili from last night.  Snack - Something sweet like a SF cupcake. - Oh yeah  - I did have about 7 Peanut M & Ms after lunch. Oops. I try to resist at work but why do people leave candy dishes on their desk for everyone uugghh- - it was calling my name today!

My tummy WAS NOT happy with me this evening...  I am not sure if it was reactive from supper (mostly dessert) or a low blood sugar episode...  Let me explain: We went to Golden Corral.  I had a lot of great choices...  baked chicken, tilapia, meat loaf, they had a huge salad bar with cut up chicken chunks, I had some green beans, carrots, corn.  A few beans with onion.  I had a bite of each these and then... the dessert bar.  Now I will just say, they do have a great variety of sugar free desserts.  They have a special place on the bar, plus they are marked with blue spoons.  I had some sf blueberry pie which I have never seen before, and some sf choc pudding. Anyway, a few hours later (which makes me think it was not related to supper), I felt all shaky while at the Goodwill...  NO It was not just excitement to find all those deals!!!   LOL.   I am not sure if it was sugar alcohols or just hypoglycemia and it was time to eat again...  we ate early tonight...  but I had to get something fast.  I was feeling kinda nervous like I get when having "an episode".  We were in Big Lots at this point...  and I hollered to Tim, "we have to get something to eat."  I was shaking by the time I opened up the ice cream sandwich we got at the checkout, and I hurried to eat about 1/4 of it, which is 5 sugars.  I got home and got a protein supplement to keep it from dropping again.  Yes I do realize that an ice cream sandwich is not the best thing to choose, but when you are in that desperate situation, you get whatever your hands can actually OPEN at that point or else you will crash fast...  I carefully allotted out the 5 sugars to raise the blood sugar but not too high...  Now the thing is, I always carry a protein product (bar, nuts, etc) with me, but I did not have a single thing tonight...  my purse was empty.  You might know...  I carry around a purse full of products ALL the time since about a month ago... and the one and only day I don't have it... boom!  Here it comes...  I don't think it was supper, because I did very well...  unless the pie had a lot of carbs or sugar alchools...  but that would have made me sick within the hour I think... Susan? Any ideas?  *Let me reiterate:  I had a high protein supper, moderate carbs in the vegs... except for that dessert.  No bread, no pasta, no potatoes.
