pre op diet

Well, it's only bad if you ate the egg parts! lol I know, I'm reaching for you. Go to Melinda's blog, she has recipes. Another good place to get pre-op ideas is bariatriceating.com. They have recipes for the pre-op diet liquids. Good luck!

Hi Miss Paula,
Sweetie, I know you are hungry... But usually after about 3 days on the liquid diet those feelings will generally subside.
Here is the thing hun, you have got to somehow get out of that head place with the word "cheating".. I know you already know this but I will be your memory stick for the day if you will allow me to be...... The liquid diet before surgery is not a torture ritual that was thought up to punish you before your surgery... It is an absolute necessity to help shrink the liver so that you can have a safer surgery and so that Dr. Dyer can maneuver around your liver without an increased risk to you to not rupture your liver during this major surgery procedure.
Paula do me a favor,.... Take out the sheet of paper that was provided to you by your surgeons office and post on here what your choices are... That exercise may help to see for sure what is on the list....
May the 6th is going to be here before we know it. Just doesn't seem like it to you at the moment cause you are hungry... Just remember, around day 3 it gets more tolerable... Use this time to go through your check list of everything you need to get done around the house before your hospital stay. That helps keep our minds busy and makes it less stressful too.....

Thank you for being so understanding. I shouldn't complain, after all I have waited soooo long for this to happen. I am just so weak and tired, and from the constant running to and from the bathroom
.......I dont even want to cheat..I trust Dr Dyer with my life. And its great to have friends.I will post the diet soon.
