1 year ago today ....
Well, this day last year I started a new journey of weight loss. It's been quite a year! I had WLS, started a wonderful new relationship, bought a house and had a beautiful baby! I've been a very busy girl! Although I've been in a holding pattern for the last few months, I've already started the forward momentum of loosing the rest of my excess weight. I've lost what I gained during the pregnancy and as of yesterday, was one pound less than when I stopped loosing. I just hope I'm going to be able to keep it up to get to my goal. Thanks for all the support, during this journey and during my pregnancy.
I hope to soon put to good use the jogging stroller I received as a gift! Will get some exercise and get both Gabriel and myself out of the house. Hope to be able to attend the picnic and get to see everyone. ~~Elena

Just reading everything that you have accomplished in the last year makes me want to go lie down and take a power nap......LOL
Do you know that for most people it takes forever to have WLS.... It takes forever to enter into a wonderful new relationship.... It takes forever to conceive and have a precious baby.... It takes forever to buy a house......
Wow.... there is no doubt in my mind that you will be right back on track and pass up the rest of us.....If you can do all of that in one year.... You can do virtually anything.....LOL Hugs to baby Gabriel and the new mom.....

All of that did take me forever too. It took me to 36 years old (I know, young compared to some), but it just seems that God had a plan for me and in his own time. Then everything alligned and I have all these awesome things/people happen in my life. I haven't had a wonderful relationship like I have with Rick with anyone else. I couldn't get pregnant before, whether that was WLS or God's timing or waiting for the right man, I don't know. I guess it's not for us to know or understand. I'm just very grateful!
