Protein Powders??
My husband put AnyWhey in almost everything he pureed for me. To the point where I was sick of it! But, it was a good idea, especially added to yogurt. Actually the flavored powders taste better in yogurt. Also, you can go to www.fitday.com and use it to calculate your calories and protein. They don't have a pureed category of course, but the protein is the same. I also made protein jello with New Whey protein bullets and sugar free jello. They were really good. Keep up the good work!

During the pureed phase I would add flavored protein powder to yogurt. I used Any Whey unflavored in soups when I just couldn't face anything sweet again.
I got most of my protein from protein shakes though. I also tracked my protein, etc. on Fitday.com.
During the early weeks, it is most important to get your fluids in. As you are able to add protein shakes, you will be able to increase your protein intake. You will also get more fluid from a shake than from pureed food.
It sounds like you are off to a great start though.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
You sure can add it to soup, applesauce, etc. I am assuming it is unflavored?
Check the carb content. Ideally the carb count should be less than 3 carbs per scoop. Most of mine are zero.
To add it to soup you must first make a past of the PP and cold liquid. Then add your hot, but not boiling, soup to it. Add a little at a time to make sure the protein doesn't curdle. Do not microwave the protein powder. It will clump into a mess that you will not be able to choke down. Trust me on this...been there...done that!
Also, watch the carb/sugar content of the soup. I was amazed at the carb content of tomato soup - 17 carbs minus 2 grams of fiber for net carbs of 15 per 8 oz of soup! That was enough to make me dump early out. Now I can handle a half cup of soup along with a rollup of deli sliced ham or turkey & cheese. Makes me feel like I'm having soup & a sandwich. LOL

Another way to get in the required protein is with Sugar Free Jello. Mix it up and substitute the 3 oz. Protein Bullet for some of the water.
You can also mix a Protein Bullet in with Crystal Lite and that helps a lot.
Also, if ya drink decaf coffee, you can add in Myoplex (pre-mixed) protein - chocolate or french vanilla flavor - to the coffee. You can pick the Myoplex up at WalMart in the pharmacy section.
Just some ideas that may help!
