Topic: RE: Dr. Boyce's program fee question
Why are the program fees so high? UT's program fees are less than $600 total. You still have to pay your copays and if you are a self pay, then there is that as well. They also let you buy whichever proteins you want so long as they fall into the diet guidelines. Wow! I wouldn't have been able to pay for the surgery with the prices you guys are talking about. Good luck!

Yes, I paid $1500 up front and $125 for 12 months for the fee. And at least for me, it didn't start coming out till after I had my surgery.
Topic: Approved, Approved, Approved!!!
After all these years I am finally approved! I am going through many emotions and still can't believe it! Just wanted to share!

That's great news Kittenlove! Thanks for letting me know. So I should be able to pay the $1500 in November and still be able to snag a late December surgery date (the last time I talked to them they were scheduled about 5 weeks out). And I agree, I am in good hands. He's really a great, caring surgeon.

So glad you're moving ahead and getting back in the race for health. It's been rough for you and you deserve all the best that life has waiting for you. Keep us posted so we can get critters in motion and prayers going up while you're in surgery and recovering.

I have spoken with the practice and they now have an option available that will allow patients to pay half up front and half in payments over 12 mos after the surgery - so you should be fine! And congratulations - you will be in terrific hands!
Be happy.
Topic: PCP Visit
Well today is my last of my 6 PCP visits. Had my psch eval last week and passed with flying colors. I have a EGD scheduled for 09/16 and if all is good with that, then my paperwork can be started. I can't wait for this roller coaster ride again. I have been through so much these last 9 months or so and I am just ready to get this done so I can start improving my life and hopefully get off of some of my meds and possibly my CPAP.
I will try to post any updates and for sure will post when I get my DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
