First of all, I would like to thank everyone on this board that responds to my questions and concerns. Being only 3 months out I don't really feel like I have much expertise to offer yet...but I do have lots of questions and you guys are always ready to offer your advice. That being said, It looks like I have hit my first plateau. Is 3 months too early for a plateau? I have lost a total of 80 lbs in those three months..so it was almost a pound a day and that spoiled me. But I have not lost ANYTHING in a week. Should I be disgusted? --Char

Disgusted? No way! Patient? YES. Your body has lost alot of weight quickly. It needs to take a breather to catch up with itself. Yes, you get spoiled seeing a change on the scale each and every day and it is completely normal to get frustrated when that stops. But the scale will move again. It probably won't move the way you want it to but it will move. Movement on the scale is never enough. We all know that. LOL. You can always find at least one person that lost faster than you and you wanna be them. 80 lbs in 3 months is absolutely amazing and astounding!!! I mean that sincerely. The scale will move again. Just be patient. Easier said then done but try not to stress if you can. Best wishes, Kathy

Cher, I too am 3 months out and I have been on a plateau for a month. I have lost 32 lbs in the first 2 months. I can tell that I am able to eat more than I did the first two months and I am back at work now (sedentary) sitting at a desk all day. I have faith that the losing will kick back in. You sound like you're doing great. Debra

I know how you feel Char! I am 3 months out also. I wish I could have lost 80 lbs already but I have only lost 55 so far. I feel wonderful now but I to am at a plateau. I have only lost "3" whole stinking pounds this month!!! I am really upset about it but I hear it happens. I just hope it will soon be over and the scales will start moving again. I have noticed one thing though. Since I have not been losing much in weight I believe it maybe coming off in inches. I won't know for sure until I measure here in a few weeks. Lisa S.
