Do you ever have one of thoes days??

I have had one of thoes days today. You know the ones where nothing will satisfy you. With the warmer weather upon us, I have found that I have very few things that fit me from last spring/summer. I have 2 tops that fit and not one of my skirts, shorts or capris sitll fit. I am not complaining, just agrivated with the way clothes in the stores fit and look on me. I also have this big "hoop-la" dinner dance that I am going to attend next Friday night. I want to wear something a on the slightly formal side. Have you priced the ****tail dresses lately? Have you tried to fit into one lately???? They are made to fit people with NO BOOBS and NO HIPS!!!! I have to get a bigger size just to fit my girls in it, and then it fits like crap everywhere else. So I thought maybe if I had a really good fitting bra to wear, I could make the dress fit better. WRONG!! I went to victoria secrets, I tried on about 7 bras (styles and sizes) and not a one fit me right. I had skin hanging out all over the place. I feel like I could scream!!! I even tried on a bathing suit which did nothing for my really bad mood, after I tried it on I felt like I could CRY!!!! Thanks for listening, I needed to vent a little. Cathy

Hi Cathy I have lots of those days. Especially shopping. For years I have been getting my bathing suits from Lands End. They are the most comfortable,flattering, long wearing suits I know. Plus-- no dressing room mirrors and if you don't like it---this was a selling point for me--you can send it back. They have a web site landsend.com check it out. I saw on TV--I think it was Oprah bra's that conceal "backfat" Sucked all that fat ( I'm preop) somewhere and makes for a smooth line under your shirts. They are at some stores in VA and have a web too Sassybax.com. I love the photo on your profile of the wrap dress. I can't wait till I can wear one! Jen

I havnt heard of the Oprah bra I will have to check it out for sure. I do love being able to fit into a regular size now, but the excess skin really is a problem. Although, I have to admit, I would never trade my excess skin for my old body back. No Way!! It wont be long before you are wearing a sexy wrap dress too. Time flies by when you are living it! Hey Cathy I know exactly what you mean. It is so frustrating. I spent 20 minutes this morning trying to pick an outfit for today, everything in my closet for spring is too big. I really need to get some shopping done. And the dress thing, ahhh. I recently had the same issues because of the wedding I was going to. Do you have a Dress Barn nearby. I had the best luck there and the pricest weren't outrageous. Also try and check the local thrift and consignment stores. You might find something great, that is a slightly older style that has a better fit. Good luck and things will get better. Courtney
