Hey Guys, I had my 2 months follow up with the surgeon and he was very satified with me so far. I lost 40 pounds but I gained like 2 pound back which I am confused to why but overall he was pleased. He just would like for me to drink more water and try to get in more protein daily. I am trying but it is really hard when nothing taste good right now. He also wants me to do a 1200 calorie diet. I was like 1200... WOW!!! I am barley getting in 750 and he wants me to do 1200. I was like ok I will do whatever you want me to do. My personel goal right now is trying to get in more protein via food or drinks. I have to stay positive. I still don't understand the 2 lbs gain but I am good as long as it is not all coming back on. I am walking everyday lunch and at home. My job is doing The Biggest Loser the winner gets $300 so I am doing that. I just want to stay motivated. I am now down to 219 so he wants me to come back in 2 months, I hope I will have the 19 pounds gone by time I go back in July. Just wanted to update everyone Montego

Montego, You are doing great. Keep up the good work. I too am out 2 months and have lost 42 lbs, so it looks like we are right on track. I know I don't get in enough water either. I always get my protein in either with food or drinks. I know exactly what you are talking about when you said nothing tastes good. I have the same problem. I am proud of you and keep going. Boy are we going to look different at Thanksgiving!! Maria

MO !! This is awesome news . I cannot stress about how important the protein is in your weightloss ... I know it taste funny .. but I tell you when I was just starting out .. I found the more protein I got in .. with added water .. and swimming my butt off .. the more weight came off . And as to the calories .. I was at about 600 to 750 for about a year .. just remember to get in your vitamins ... which I know you are doing . There are so many proteins out there .. just keep trying one till you find the one you like . Congrats again on winning this fight ! Hugs, Natalie

Thanks Natalie, I promised myself no matter how nasty the protein taste I was going to get my protein in no matter what. Thanks for the encouraging words, it really means a lot when you are so very new with the WLS. I am so determined. Montego

You are doing FABULOUS! 40 pounds in 2 months is great. I know getting in more protein is a chore, but you can do it! Good luck on the Biggest Loser contest, you will need the 300$ to buy new SMALLER clothes!! Cathy
