Update on Tink's Mom
Last night, Lois' (Nat's mother) arms and legs erupted from all of the swelling. Today the doctors wanted to amputate her arms and legs, as gangrene has set in. They feel sure that the sepsis has finished off any brain activity that was still going on.
They have, thankfully, decided not to amputate, but to let her go as peacefully and pain-free as possible. Nat's sister, Carol, was driving when the accident took place, but it WAS NOT her fault; she is having an especially hard time with this.
Natalie asked me to thand everyone for their prayers, thoughts, and emails. She has been astounded at the kindness of everyone. Her email is [email protected] . She has returned to Richmond until this is all over. She has asked me to come down there to be with her; I will go as soon as she needs me there.
Please continue to hold them in your hearts.
JoAnn

Thank you for keeping us updated. This is a traggic thing. I feel awful for Natalie and her family. My heart goes out ot her. I don't have any encouraging words of wisdom to say. I just wanted to respond to your post and please let her know I/we are thinking of all of them and hold them high in prayer.

This all hits so close to home for me..I truly know what she is going threw though one's pain is never the same for another.I can not express enough for her and her family.I hope her sister really makes peace with herself on it all,it has to be awful to even have that slightest feeling but I totaly understand her.I will continue my prayers for them during this time and am there if you guys need anything.
JoAnn,
Thanks so much for the information - though I'd hoped things would improve. Please let Nat know that she and her family remain in my thoughts and prayers. There are not adequate words of comfort at this time that I can think of, other than to let them know that I'm so sorry she and her family have to go through this. Please let her know she's loved.
Sending hugs her way,
Chele
