Hey Holly! Good to see you and I agree with Melinda, you are beautiful. Could it be a hernia maybe? I would definitely get it checked out with my dr. I know what you mean though. I have noticed lately that my abdomen area seems to be poking out a bit more than it was before, I don't have pain or anything, just a puffy belly.
Courtney

This is a long shot but I was getting a new ID badge last Monday and the lady making my badge noticed my weight on my old ID was 385 and my new weight was 246. Turns out she had WLS (lap RNY) 18 months previous and had done really well (showed me a picture) but had started swelling and then putting on weight, 60 lbs worth before the doctors discovered some kind of bacterial infection, or something like that, in her old pouch that had caused it to swell and scar tissue was growing. She has been treated with antibiotics and after three months is losing weight again. Hope this isn't what is happening to any of you but thought it might be worth getting checked by your surgeoj or PCP doctor. This lady had her surgery at MCV in Richmond VA. Never heard of anything like this before.
Hope you get it figured out and resolved. A poking-out stomach (no matter how much is visible or pyschological) at this point, is a real kick-in-the-head.
If you get a diagnosis, sharing would be appreciated so we can all beware.
