Thanks to all who sent congrats after my previous post.  I am very proud of myself so far but mainly I want others to be able to see what kind of transformation is possible through this surgical process.  It's not all about looks, it's about how feel  healthwise, mentally and how fabulously comfortable you can be in your own skin.  I am still a klutz when it comes to pictures on this thing but have added a few to my profile.  Wish I could get a full length one done that is good quality.  So far none of them have been good.  They're ok of me....but the quality of the actual photograph isn't worth uploading.  One more wow moment to share....When I married my husband one of the things I looked forward to was going for a ride in his canoe.  I quickly became much too big for that.  Now I am just right and yesterday we went for what many would say was a long canoe ride for a first timer.  I paddled for just about 4 hours straight.  We went up the York River from the refinery to the edge of the public beach.  That's the best gift I could have gotten for my "first surgiversary!"

Wow your pictures are great.  You look marvelous.  Definitely a great surgiversary gift to be able to go off rowing with the hubby.  Keep on enjoying those moments.

Congrats on your transformation. Wow 4 hours in the canoe. Good for you! You look so familiar. I will have to PM you to find out if I've met you before.
